Living the suite life...as in bridal suite life!

On-location makeup means that we are used to working just about anywhere including hallways, church basements, you name it!

However; when booking your venue, paying attention to the bridal suite is important! Be sure to think ahead before booking:

▪ How early can you get into it? Wedding day timelines often start with hair and makeup starting at 8 or 9am. Make sure you have access time on your contract and not just ‘told’ you can get it early.

▪ Make sure it’s large enough for your bridesmaids, family, your glam squad (us), photographers, and all your stuff. We often see struggles with 20 people trying to squeeze into a room meant for 6.

▪ Great natural light, plenty of outlets and mirrors, and space to hang dresses/store your bags, allows us to work more efficiently and you to get great getting ready photos.

Long Hollywood Curls are all the rage right now, and we have to admit that they are very pretty! 💕

While this may look like a simple and easy to do hairstyle, it actually requires the same amount of time, effort, and expertise as any other bridal hairstyle.

It's also very dependent upon your own hair thickness, length and overall health. A preview appointment at the salon is highly recommend in case we need to do any corrective hair treatments or plan for extensions.

If you're considering braids or a more complicated wedding hairstyle, we highly recommend scheduling a preview appointment. This will help us access the length and fullness of your hair as extensions may need to be added.

Every look/style/application is a process that takes time, salon quality products, years of training, and it can't be rushed or discounted.

💯Full makeup and 'light' makeup are the same price.
💯Short or thin hair is the same price as long or full hair.
💯There is no such thing as an 'effortless' updo...it still takes us a lot of training and work to pull off.
💯A 'daytime' look takes the same time as a 'evening' look.
💯Clip-in extensions cost extra to style/install because now you have two heads of hair to manage.
