The Rohr family had a lot of successful events at our national specialty at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO!
In scent work W and TH, Glory got a Q in container and a Q in interior and the high scoring giant award.
Bruce got his very first interior novice title with Keon EVER! I am so proud of him!

Glory also got an Award of Merit Friday at the national specialty!
She earned her BCAT yesterday with the fastest 100-yard run of NINE SECONDS and got a beautiful black and silver rosette for recognition of her conformation championship in the Parade of Titleholders.

Keon earned his Fetch/retrieving title today and he earned very nice qualifying scores in excellent and advanced rally. He was also recognized at the banquet awards program with four national awards!

This was the best national specialty ever and it’s thanks to our awesome club board members and committee members.

Special thanks to Robin Henderson for helping me groom Glory. It took us to an Award of Merit win!

Trooper earned a rally high combined (excellent B/advanced B) at OCOD’s Rally Trial on July 12. There was a huge entry so I was especially proud of my boy. This was also his third triple Q.

Esther had another great week visiting the campers at HHS Summer camp. They also made Esther portraits - so very cute!

Thank you Laurel Hendricks for all your help Saturday counting & setting trays so I could inventory Friday's ribbons. We make a good team!

Our July Rally-Obedience trials are now in the record books. In case you
are not aware of the immensity of hard work by all of you and all that
you as volunteers contributed toward this effort to make it a big
success, I am here to tell you that your efforts were over the top.

I heard from judges as well as from exhibitors who bragged to me on your
performance and how you make OCOD shine. Whether you worked one shift
or multiple shifts as some did, I can't thank you enough for being part
of the team that made it all a stand out of trials.

Also I hope that stewarding at this type of dog competition will inspire
you to learn and train so that one day you too will be on the inside of
the ring gating showing your dog(s) and earning titles.

Our awards table person, Kelly Zen was on the job for all 3 days and
much of that time all by her self. Then Linda Campagna who recruited
many of you through phone calls to fill all of the needed steward spots,
I could not do without. And like I said whether one shift or
multiple shifts I am thankful for your time and efforts.

Esther and I spent some time the HHS summer camp today and met some really fun campers. We talked about owning a dog and dog training. At the end we all sat down and made Esther portraits. I think the kids did a great job capturing Esther's look!
