Former host of the Suncoast Emmy Award winning kids’ show, ‘Know TV’ on WESH-TV2, and news anchor/producer at FOX 35/ FOX 51, Megan is also in the Guiness Book of World Records as the youngest news anchor on the local edition of CNN Headline News. Megan was Miss Florida 1994, and was the overall interview winner at Miss America. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television Communications. She also holds a second degree in Interior Design Technology from Daytona State College with a 4.0 GPA. She was recently the featured talent in a Daytona State College commercial promoting the Interior Design Program. Megan’s designs have been recognized and showcased in the Design and Architecture Programs at the college, and she was the president of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) Daytona State College Student Chapter. She was also awarded the Outstanding Student Award in Interior Design in 2013. She is currently an Allied member of ASID. Gunby is also a partner of Creamer and Gunby Interiors for commercial and large design projects. Megan is a current school board member of St. Barnabas Episcopal School, a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, the DeLand Garden Club, and Krewe of Amalee. Additionally, she is a member and immediate past president of the Junior Service League of DeLand Sustainers. Megan is also proud to have served on the board of the Easter Seals of Volusia/Flagler. She is the voiceover for ‘Legendary Florida,’ a permanent art exhibit by Jackson Walker on display at the Volusia County Courthouse depicting the history of Florida. Her former home was featured in the 2000 Historic Tour of Homes. Megan believes in community and giving back.
