Deliver a one-of-a kind dining experience to all guests that visit Platez Southern Kitchen & Cocktails, while maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and safety standards.

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Platez Southern Kitchen & Cocktailz.
• Guide guests through the applicable Platez menu and answer questions about dishes, beverages, and other general restaurant items.
• Follow the Platez Service Guidelines at all times and use them as direction for all interactions.
• Take orders from guests for both food and beverages and make appropriate suggestions to enhance their experience and increase revenue. Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
• Enter guests order into POS system accurately and according to all service standards.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
• Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
• Adhere to all state and local requirements regarding the safe service of alcoholic beverages.
• Perform running sidework and closing duties as needed.
• Collect payments from guests.
• Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
• Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Platez Southern Kitchen & Cocktailz is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. This role will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

The Restaurant Manager must maintain the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals while ensuring efficient restaurant operations. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. The successful candidate will lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, this position will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
* Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
* Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
* Regularly review product quality and align as needed
* Organize and supervise shifts
* Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
* Conduct regular inventories and place food, beverage and supply orders according to established par levels
* Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
* Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
* Enter invoices and receipts into accounting software
* Create reports as needed on sales, labor and overall costs
* Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
* Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and company SOPs
* Implement policies and protocols that will maintain and enhance future restaurant operations

Skills
* Proven work experience as a Restaurant * Manager, Restaurant General Manager, * Hospitality Manager or similar role
* Proven customer service experience as a manager
