Election time is quickly approaching!! Be sure to fill out the petitions once they open if you want to be part of SGA, Honor Court, or Judicial Board!! We want to hear what your goals are in improving our campus and we can't wait to see you all get involved. All the roles and responsibilities of each position will be included in the petitions and ballots. Hello everyone! We have great news: THE SGA WEBSITE HAS BEEN UPDATED!!! We have added all the past meeting minutes this year, the bills and resolutions we have passed, upcoming events, and more! Check it out now and see what we've been working on this year! Our meetings are every Friday at 2:30pm in Campbell 215. They are open to the campus community, so come learn about what we do or voice your questions and concerns!

Meet your COSMO Co-Chair, Shantelle Donelly! She is a women's studies and sociology double major, anthropology minor, and liaison to the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion. Say hello to COSMO Co-Chair, Sigal Kahn. She is an english literature and creative writing major, a sociology and anthropology minor, and liaison to the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion. Sigal wants to implement large changes that reflect the needs and wants of students. Sigal teaches people about essential oils! Be sure to say hi to Sigal when you see her.

Today we're highlighting IOC Co-Chair, Natalia Mackiewicz. She is a psychology major and liaison to the Parents Council, Pam Cottrell. Natalia wants to directly voice the concerns of her peers. Natalia’s first language is Polish, not English! She can speak Polish, English, French, and a little Japanese. Be sure to say hi to Natalia when you see her.

Starting this week's SGA Spotlights is IOC Co-Chair, CJ Montgomery. CJ is majoring in africana studies, minoring in education, and is liaison to Accessible Education Director, Rashad Morgan. She wanted to be able to give a voice to those who felt voiceless and promote a spirit of change. CJ is the youngest of thirteen siblings! Be sure to say hi to CJ when you see her.

Diona is majoring in sociology and anthropology, minoring in environmental and sustainability studies, and is liaison to the Center for Sustainability Director, Susan Kidd. Starting this week's SGA Spotlights is Sustainability Co-Chair, Jessa Rhea! Jessa is majoring in mathematics and double minoring in Classics and Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She is also liaison to Facilities Director, Dave Marder. She wants to help create positive change on our campus. Jessa has freckles on one side of her face! Say hello to 2022 At-Large Senator, Georga-Kay Whyte. She is majoring in anthropology, minoring in sociology and history, and liaison to the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy, Rachel Rossetti. Georga-Kay wants to give voice to everyone who don't feel like their opinions matter. Her favorite book to read as a child was the oxford dictionary! Today we’re highlight 2022 At-Large Senator, Amaris Sawyer. She is a political science major and liaison to Alumnae Relations Director, Amy Chastain. Amaris wants to ensure that Agnes Scott is a home for all students. Her favorite sport is water polo! Be sure to say hi to Amaris when you see her.

Help us welcome newly appointed 2021 At-Large Senator, Zozan Tahir! She has yet to declare her major but she has an interest in the healthcare field. Zozan joined SGA to be a voice for her fellow classmates. She loves to bake-- especially cakes and decorating them! Be sure to say hi to Zozan when you see her.

She is majoring in international relations, minoring in public health, and liaison to Public Safety Chief, Henry Hope. Leah loves the experience she is gaining in SGA for her future career in Global Health Policy. She was also born during Hurricane Lennie! Be sure to say hi to Leah when you see her.

Ending this week's SGA Spotlights is Transfer Student Senator, Sharon Gurung! She is a political science major and liaison to ITS Associate Vice President, LaNeta Counts. Sharon wants to work towards ensuring that future transfer students have a smoother transition to Agnes Scott. She is also obsessed with tea, buying more than her suitcase can hold! Be sure to say hi to Sharon when you see her.
