Attention incoming 9th graders! Just a friendly reminder that orientation is next week. Students with last names L - Z will come on Monday, August 5th from 8am - 11am. Students with last names A - K will come on Tuesday, August 6th from 8am - 11am. Please bring your Chromebook so you can exchange it for your new one! Meet us in the Commons to get checked in. Daily Chronicle 2024 Girls Athlete of the Year: DeKalb’s Korima Gonzalez Korima Gonzalez qualified for the state cross country for the first time, then set a school record in the 800 at the state track tournament. The DeKalb senior was named the Daily Chronicle 2024 Girls Athlete of the Year.

Daily Chronicle 2024 Boys Athlete of the Year: DeKalb’s Davon Grant Davon Grant already has two high-level basketball seasons under his belt, a breakout football campaign and seven NCAA Division I football offers. The DeKalb rising junior is the Daily Chronicle Boys Athlete of the Year.

Congratulations to Senior Kayla Bruhn who was selected as DeKalb High School's Good Citizenship Award through the Daughters of the American Revolution. We are proud of her leadership!

Congratulations to DHS's own Jayden Wilson who was nominated for the Outstanding Citizenship Award through the Fox Valley Sons of the American Revolution Chapter by Mr. Billeck and won the award! We're proud of you Jayden!
