Meet the newest member of The Fleet: 📷 Canon F-1 in Olive Drab. A relic, and only 3,000 ever made in this military edition. Who knows how many are left now, certainly not many in this condition ✨ Thanks Japan! 🇯🇵

I’m stocked up on Ilford HP5 Plus, Kodak 400TX, Ektar 100, Portra 160, Portra 400, and Fujifilm Velvia 50. Can’t wait to contrast and compare.

Picked up a scanner too- the Plustek 8200i. I’ll share some results once I figure it all out!

I def don’t post enough cool pics like these from all of the awe-inspiring shoots I’ve been on. These are screenshots actually from my recent shoot in the Sand Dunes for Soundscape Collective- a truly amazing nonprofit project you should know more about to give musicians and producers a chance to create- away from it all. I’m so impressed by the music that comes out of this project. Video coming in the near future, so keep an eye out for that. And wow, love that 100-500mm on the RED. She’s a beauty. 🏜

When I was a kid, I had a poster of the on my wall that I think I got from - an annual highlight for us where we got to spend the $5 we convinced our parents to give us for whatever we wanted! This past weekend, Nova and I were lucky enough to catch them flying directly overhead, so we took the cameras and headed a 1/4 mile north to for the show! These pics don’t do it justice, but what a show! I heard it was the first time in 19 years. I hope they come back every year! These guys are insane. ✈️🤪

This past week, I was so busy filming, traveling, and planning the Totally Rad Music Fest that I didn’t get a chance to announce our third consecutive year of 🏆

Every year so far, we’ve managed to raise our own creative bar. We took our first Telly in 2019, a Silver for the Mental Health Matters campaign. Last year, we took SIX more Telly’s, including our first Gold for our mini doc about the ... And this year, we were honored with TWELVE more Telly’s for our work in various categories, including two more elusive Golden awards- one in Branding Content for our friends at and another for Corporate Image video content for our work with

We also earned several Silver and Bronze Telly’s this year for our work with series, a comedic piece we created with and , a short film we made with musician on his multimedia album project, and for our work with Ross Barrable’s public awareness campaign on Sound Gardens ( ).

Thank you to all of these amazing friends-slash-clients who gave me the trust and opportunity to work together on this awesome content, and congrats to you all as well. 🥳

And finally, a thank you to the for honoring our work once again to bring our grand total to 19 Telly’s! It’s nice to know our small little operation stacks up with the big boys. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Finally getting around to posting about last weekend, which was one of the best journeys we’ve ever embarked, for so many reasons. Many posts to come because there’s just so many amazing photos, thanks to and who matched our commitment to raising the bar with this music video for entitled “Rock My Baby” - the 1st single off their upcoming 2nd album “Hot to Trot.”

This post is a bit about the gear we used during the shoot. The music video was shot entirely on and using and lenses. Loved the ergonomics and the look was 👌🏼 We also rocked a for the majority of our shots with the Epic-W, and relegated the Komodo to locked down and tight space B-Came duties using the + FS6 system. Nothing but great stuff to say about all that gear.

Another game changer was the wireless focusing system and we set up all weekend. It really allowed us laser focus to dial it in on ... thanks to and for the hook up on the next level peripherals that make all the difference.

Also worth mentioning, the BTS video that shot the sh*t out of was all shoot with (35mm and 75mm) on the and I have to say I came away impressed by these little beasts. Def worth a look for mid range setups.

Everything looked so so good and I’m so very proud of my crew; each and everyone one of them killed it.

Setting up that with the and lenses this weekend for our next music video creation with 💕 It all starts today in Denver with an All-Star Cast and Crew, three packed trucks worth of gear, and some crazy ideas that’ll take us deep deep deep into the Universe 🦄 They’re upcoming album “Hot to Trot” is slated for release this year, and this video for “Rock My Baby” is for the first single you’ll hear.

Almost two months of Production is about to wrap for ‘s online course releasing Feb 14 💜 on ! 🤸‍♀️ Here’s the promo! We put together about 80 training videos where she walks you through it all, step by step, to get in the right headspace, energy, condition, etc.

We shot it all on with my 6K ST000034 😜 and the on my M5.

In round one of bringing talented musicians and producers together to create in inspiring locations, I had the chance to reunite with and , great friends who were a huge part of last year’s National winner Detour 360. Some awesome pix from last weekend’s shoot during the 53:14 music video experiment. Challenging to say the least but came away with some beautiful shots, and got a lot more intimate with my and the workflow. Love the next-to-zero lag when casting to the iPad to monitor the shot- came in handy so many times and looked a lot better than the on board screen. Also got a bit of time to play with the which we really enjoyed the look and feel of. Great collab with and and our deep dive afterward against the clock into ... looking forward to a similar setup with a lot more time to screw around! Arcadian Pictures is an award-winning production company based out of Fort Collins, Colorado, with a passionate focus in the art of story-telling. Now in its 2nd year, Arcadian have fully embraced the local scene and continue to contribute many works to the development of the creative community.

Arcadian’s focus is on Event & Festival Production and Narrative Film & Storytelling. We also specialize in Musical Content, Aerial Videography, and Post-Production Services.

Arcadian Pictures was founded by John Hunt with a lot of help from fellow Creative, Juan Rodriguez (Juli y Juan’s Kitchen), in The Winter of 2016. A passionate philosopher and world traveler, John has spent several years exploring and living amongst other cultures. These adventures, which he documents in his Travel Blog (wandrlustr.com), were pivotal in his view of the world and his desire to impact it in a positive way. A life of Travel provoked a knack for story-telling, expressed through Filmmaking, in an effort to transform a dormant society into one of action.

Also a house music DJ by the name of Panamaa for local collaborative, Household Collective, John has a passion for music, which drives much of Arcadian’s content creation.
