We had a blast this past week in Nor Cal! We met our handsome nephew for the first time, hung out with my kick ass in laws, went wine tasting, went to Carmel and drove around Big Sur! Surprisingly, the smoke was not that bad by the water, ate til we couldn’t eat anymore, happy hour on the beach, and just a really great time with my husband !!!! I think my brain is still in Cali. Haha.

Our puppy girl Dutchess turned 1 this pass Saturday! I just can’t believe how time has flown by and how big she is! We celebrated by brining her to a Great Dane meet up and went wild in the water! We love you Dutchess! Your love for us just melts me!!! We are so lucky

I thought I shared a project we’re working on. I love being an interior designer. It’s my passion. I hate posting but here I am. Trying again! Because I care and want to connect. I don’t think people realize how much work goes into planning everything for reno’s, flips, new builds, etc. Many of you do, many of you don’t. If you do, I love you that much more. It’s stressful. But it doesn’t have to be. You’re dealing with people’s hard earned money and they put their trust in you. And it is a honor when they hire us! Really. Whether short term goals or long term. We are in it for you. I love that we offer a design-build service because it helps our clients simplify things with minor dumps in the road. With that said, it takes months of planning and organizing to make this magic happen. As I once heard from a wise guy at Home Depot say as the paint lady apologized for the delay. He responded... “it’s okay, it takes time to make magic” and that never left me. I remind myself of that all the time. We aren’t here to just do Reno’s, new build, flips, etc. We’re here to manifest the dream lifestyle our clients want. Execute your sartorial design. No matter what lifestyle that is. I call myself a lifestyle interior designer and I feel that’s what makes us approachable.

This project is a complete relocation of the kitchen in the old attached garage. Its not a big space. It’s a ranch style home. By doing this, it’s maximizing the space so that we can add another bathroom and bedroom to make the ranch home a 4 bed and 3 bath with an extra spacious kitchen. It’s going to be stunning when we’re done!

Staging is about working with circumstances of a home. It’s about acknowledging the architecture, the windows, and the views, and finishes. For this client, we brought in warmth and texture to compliment such a bold fireplace. How do you balance out such a bold architectural piece?

Kitchen season is in full force, folks. Permits galore! When you’re first starting out as a residential designer, you dream of the day you can get your hands on kitchens. I love to design kitchens. I have to admit to something about this photo. My clients for this kitchen wanted to go with a black hood range. I was wishy washy about it. So sharp! Love when my clients see my vision for go it and add their own eye to it too!
