Domain names (“business.com,” for example) are quickly becoming the hottest form of real estate for those who love buying and selling as an income source.
In the last few months, Google has cautiously verified that having multiple domains pointing to your existing website will help boost SEO scores.
For instance, if I were to buy “denvermarketingcompany.com” and point it to my existing website, “stacked-deck.com,” I’ll be harnessing the extremely lucrative purchasing power from the keywords that the domain contains, and it’s a simple one-time payment.
These concepts can sometimes be overwhelming, but help isn’t far away, and nor should it be; the race to buy is on!

It's a natural reaction for business owners to think that step one to mitigate financial losses during a recession is to reduce or remove their marketing budget. If you (the business owner) do not have at least three channels for new clients (outside of marketing), then removing your marketing budget can be the nail in the coffin for your business.
If you have the money to invest in paid advertising, now is the time to do it; the best time to get ahead of the competition is when they aren't in the race.
There are two [recurring] traits among business owners who stand the test of time:
1) Willingness and Ability to adapt to any situation
2) Consistency: Show up when no one else does
Common question: What does your company do?
Answer: We turn data into dollars; if there isn't data, then we spend time collecting data to position ourselves to make informed decisions about structured investment opportunities based on a client's goals and budget.

There's a reason cold-calling scripts don't work as well as having a well-trained salesperson that knows how to communicate as a human being. If you're doing cold calls correctly, your voice inflection and mannerisms should change based on the perceived gender, age, and location of the person you're trying to sell on your product or service.
The customers' perception is your reality. If someone has never met, seen, or heard about you, the content they're seeing about you and your business better be top-notch, otherwise, you'll create dissociation from your brand.
Don't think of video content as a useless expense, rather, think of it as an investment into the growth of your business.
Just because a problem HASN'T been solved doesn't mean that it CAN'T be solved. Audit your current processes and find room for improvement. If it can be automated, automate it, but don't forget the human element!
If you've been considering running paid ads for your business, consider NOT running paid ads. If you're using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google My Business correctly, you don't need to spend a single dollar on ads. Instead of throwing money away on lead generation, create content for your business!
Has your marketing strategy failed several times? If so, you're probably not entitled to compensation, but every business owner who has kept records of their clients IS entitled to their data. In an ever-changing, digital world, the only thing that matters when developing a marketing strategy is the data; are you making moves based on the data?
Creation, ideation, and visualization are some of the easiest things to get caught up in while deciding on a marketing strategy. These days, 'million-dollar' ideas are a dime-a-dozen, and advice is even cheaper. In a world where competition and market saturation are increasingly unavoidable, hard work remains the only common denominator between those who are successful and those who aren't. If you're currently deciding on a marketing strategy, stop deciding and start executing!
Need can create dissociative problems for employees and business owners alike. Letting need dictate your decisions can be a slippery slope into a 'treading-water' situation, whether it's business or life. Always double check your decisions against your previously stated plan to make sure you stay in alignment with your goals. Patience is difficult, but the prizes at the end of the road are worth it!
Being comfortable can be one of the most detrimental things to your success. There's a difference between never leaving your comfort zone and working your ass off so that you can be comfortable. If you are comfortable, consider putting yourself in a tough situation as a catalyst for growth; watch what happens!
Assuming you know what you're talking about, sales is all about timing. It's about the time it takes for you to read/understand/comprehend/see the person you are selling to. Once you see them, you are no longer selling to them, you are helping them. If you see them, but you can't help them, do not push the sale; it will create discourse.
The expectation of customer service has changed. People now expect to have an AI barrier between them and the actual solution. This creates a glaring opportunity for service-based industries to cut through the noise with individualized customer service. AI is popular on the corporate side because it cuts costs, but people are tired of it on the customer side, so pick up the phone and start serving your customers.

There is no accounting for taste (literally, I've tried). While it is funny, it's also true. Do not assume that people/clients/animals prefer the same things, have the same level of respect, or hold themselves to the same standard as you; this will only alienate them. On the other hand, do not overextend yourself to become something you're not in the name of making a dollar. Stick to what makes you great and you will become great.
You can be the best _____ in the world, but if no one knows about you, you may as well close your doors. The customer's perception is your (business's) reality.
It's extremely important that you are proud of the content that you post on behalf of your business; if you aren't who will be?
Teaching is how we learn. When you start to teach your clients, customers, etc. about what you do and how you do it, you not only increase your client retention, but you increase your skill set and knowledge base.
Don't overcomplicate what you're doing in order to put your client on their heels; it creates distrust and discourse. Instead, show them the ways in which you do things (and charge twice as much).
When someone walks up to you and offers you the deal of a lifetime, don't let your ego get in the way. There are plenty of deceivers out there that warrant this response, but when someone shows you evidence of success (and you still say no), there is some introspection to be done.
Passions Pay the Bills.
Why is it that only 6/10 businesses are successful with 99% of advertising agency's plans?
The answer is simple when you understand why it DOES work for the other 6 businesses -- no two businesses are the same, nor should they be treated as such, even when they're in the same industry.
Instead of trying to go for the hard sale using lead generation advertising, you should be running awareness campaigns; they're much cheaper, and they increase your referrals rather than trying to get random people from the internet as your clients.
Instead of trying to make more sales, make yourself famous within your target market and the referrals will start pouring in.
Lead generation companies (clearly) seem to think that business owners are uneducated because they keep lying to them about what kind of results they can deliver; this has given the entire advertising industry a bad name, and we're here to clean up the mess.
Agencies saying things like "We can get you a 10:1 return on your investment in the first 90 days." or "You'll get a return on investment in 90 days (or your money back)." are fighting a losing battle because they can't (actually) guarantee those results.
Surprised? We are too.
Now, for the good news:
We can get you a steady stream of new clients with a $0/month ad spend, and we're currently teaching a monkey to do it because it's that easy.
Quit treading water and break through the noise; send us a message and find out how.
What does it take to create a successful company? This has served me well so far:
In my experience working with several different agencies, I found something in common: employers were all looking for the 'right' people to be their employees. Whether it was personality tests or rigorous interview processes, everyone seemed to be trying to find something that wasn't there.
If we learn how to communicate and understand people instead of trying to mold people into what we [think we] need them to be, then a team will quickly conjure itself into existence. Instead of thinking about what an employee can do for a company, think about what a company can do for an employee, and life becomes much, much easier for everyone.
There’s a difference between persuading and informing, and it’s paramount that you know the difference if you want to be a rockstar-salesman, human being, or if you simply want a better handle on life.
Persuasion is quickly becoming a dated tactic, whether it’s the relationship with your significant other, or the most important sales call of your life — if you have to persuade someone, it means the information you posses isn’t worthy of action.
When you inform (rather than persuade), all walls between you and the receiver of your message disappear. You’re no longer a salesman; you’re a teacher. When you become the teacher, you become a worthy source of information and the positive affirmations (referrals/compliments) will start to pour in from your chosen audience.
If you are in the business of persuasion; your methodology has blind spots that will (eventually) show themselves, however major or minor those may be.
