From the East Coast and raised in an amaro bar, Jenn loved cocktails, especially in the Last Word/Paper Plane family. 🍸 Her favorite drink is a classic French 75 with a splash of amaro or modifier for extra fun! She has spent a fair share of her time at a classic Colorado style whiskey bar. 🥃 She loves the community’s emphasis on local spirits and products and can’t wait to spend more time getting to know Hazel! I envisioned a bar that would not only serve the community but support the community as a whole. As in providing charitable contributions to our local schools, artists, and all others in need.”

“As for challenges as a female owner….being afraid to fail was something I had to get over quickly! In the beginning I felt a lot of judgement, many people in the community assumed that my husband or father in law were the owners of the bar and that I was just the face- that was incredibly irritating, but the only thing I could do was to continue with my vision and eventually those rumors were squashed. I also learned that we can’t make everyone happy, as hard as I try, and their opinions of me don’t matter. Male or female, I just hustle like anyone else that owns a business should. Work hard, stay steady and stick with your vision. Believe in yourself and it will all fall into place. I have an incredible staff and I’m grateful for how everything has come together.”
