In celebration of the Juneteenth Holiday, I am excited to share my conversation with Matt Anderson on his Podcast (The Proximity Process).

There is a difference between white-bodied individuals and the ideology of whiteness. Whiteness is anti-black, anti-collectivity, anti-community, and anti-human.
It is the responsibility of each individual to go on their journey into humanity.

All must reach a level of self-awareness and consciousness that is not taught in schools or fostered in institutions.
We all deserve peace, freedom, and liberation! And I will continue to fight for it, for my community.

Families that have experienced forced separation from the child warfare system experience difficulty in creating an healthy Family unit after reunification occurs. Impacted individuals are welcome to join our virtual therapeutic community space every third Wednesday of the month from 5 PM to 6:30 PM mountain time.

Often, families that have experienced forced separation from the child warfare system experience difficulty in creating a healthy family unit after reunification occurs. Neither parents nor children come back in the same way. Trauma mirroring PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) systems linger well after the case is closed. The MJCF: Coalition has created a space to help support families rebuild trust and safety within the families.

Impacted individuals are welcome to join our virtual therapeutic community every 3rd Wednesday of the month (5 pm-6:30 pm mountain time).

More accuse DCF of keeping relatives from getting custody of family members More families are accusing Florida’s child welfare system of manipulating facts to keep children from being placed with biological family members.

82% of all “Child Abuse” cases are due to Poverty mistaken for Neglect.

Angela has appeared on CNN, Al Jazeera, Red Table Talk, and other media outlets to help center adoptee stories and bring clarity and truth narratives about race, class, and identity. Angela hosts The Adoptee Next Door podcast, is a mentor and advisor to adoptees nationwide, and serves as a Sensitivity Consultant on Broadway’s Jagged Little Pill and NBC’s show, This Is Us. Her vision is to amplify and center adoptee voices. Her first book is scheduled for publication in the spring of 2023 (Beacon Press)."
