If we do happen to get significant snow, please try to park your vehicles off of the road to make it easier for our DPW plows to clear the roads

‼️ATTN‼️ A travel ban is now in effect for The Village of Depew. Please monitor local TV/radio media for weather updates as well as updates on travel restrictions

Effective immediately, the travel ban has been lifted in the Town and Village of Lancaster. At 9am, the ban will be lifted in the Town of Cheektowaga and Villages of Sloan and Depew. Roads are still being cleared, so use caution when traveling.

TRAVEL BAN IS STILL IN EFFECT. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER UPDATES.

Walden Avenue is now open between Transit Road and Dick Road with lane restrictions. Eastbound traffic is restricted to 1️⃣ Lane. Both Westbound lanes are open. Crews are still on location making repairs, so please use caution when traveling through.

Transit Road is closed ⛔️ in both directions between Walden Avenue and Terrace Boulevard due to a water main break. The road closure will be for an extended period of time. Please use alternate routes. We will update you with further information as soon as possible.

Beginning overnight tonight, the Village of Depew Winter Parking Ban will be in effect. ALL vehicles must be parked off of the roadway between 2am-7am daily in order to assist the DPW in plowing the roadways . This will be in effect every day until March 15, 2024.

This Thanksgiving weekend, millions will hit our nation's roads, eager to spend time with family and friends. It’s one of the busiest travel times of the year, and unfortunately more people on the roadways means the potential for more vehicle crashes. Remember: BUCKLE UP, EVERY TIME! 🦃 🥧

The Winter overnight parking ban has been postponed until December 1st! If we end up getting significant snow between now and then that requires plowing, please bring vehicles in off the street to make it easier for our DPW plows to maneuver down the roads. Please Share‼️
