Michigan Horror Fans: don't miss an opportunity to return to the roots of Michigan horror cinema tomorrow at the Ford Wyoming Drive-in!
Last year's Mise En Scène Michigan lineup included Evil Dead and Northville Cemetery Massacre, two films that were hits at the drive-ins in the 70's and 80's. Now, Grindhouse Releasing is putting Evil Dead plus I Drink Your Blood back in these theaters.
Also, don't sleep on Michigan horror film The Wretched, also playing at drive-ins nationally!

Get ready for a rockin' time at the movies! The original X-***ed cut of the cult classic Northville Cemetery Massacre (aka Freedom RIP) is playing tonight at 8pm at Senate Theater! Bikers from the two clubs featured in the movie are coming in and will be talking about the wild time making this flick!
Quick reminder: everyone who buys a ticket to tomorrow's screening of GOING BACK will also get a free DVD of this indie classic. See Bruce Campbell make his dramatic acting debut tomorrow at 5pm at the Senate Theater!

Film is not dead at Mise En Scène Michigan! Some of the films in our lineup will be presented in 16mm, like the feature film Going Back and some selected short films. We will also have fun extras, like vintage trailers, projected on film.
Going Back plays Saturday, Oct. 12th at 5pm at the Senate Theater.

We're honored to have William Dear as part of this year's festival and to show his movie, Northville Cemetery Massacre on Sunday night! William's had a four decade long career in filmmaking and got his start right here in Michigan. The impressive Julie Hinds of the Free Press details some of his career highlights.
