Had a great meeting at Republic National Distributing Company last night. My steward Joe Fortson is doing an amazing job, and the meeting was a successful step towards union building.

Steward Josh Baker was my tour guide at the new Frito-Lay Bin in Marysville. A much needed improvement for our hard working brothers and sisters.

It is with great sadness that we have to post that retired Local 337 business agent, Vice President, Reno Mifsud has passed away from a long-term illness. He was adored by many of our members, he would light up a room when he walked in, and with his Maltese accent that was unmistakable Reno, "Forget About It". Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. When services are announced we will provide them.

BREAKING NEWS: The Amazon Labor Union has formally affiliated with the 1.3 million-member strong Teamsters Union. The affiliation was announced by Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien during the union’s General Executive Board meeting today in Washington, DC. The Teamsters' board unanimously approved the affiliation.

Make sure you read the directions to install on your phone, it was a little tricky. We will be updating more of the website which transfers to the App in the near future. Today was a victorious day for the Romulus Kroger Fulfillment Center Drivers. These almost 300 drivers worked tirelessly to join Teamsters Local 337 . Thanks to an amazing organizing committee, employees, Christion Smith I.B.T. organizer, Leroy Mickens, and Will Rekuc under the leadership of President Todd Lince the drivers voted 3 to1 to become Teamsters. We are proud to now call them Local 337 Teamster members. We also appreciate all the IBT organizers that came in and helped. The Warehouse Division gave us anything we needed to help win for a better future for the drivers.

This months General Membership meeting is 5/19/2024 at 9am.

The guys were handbilling Kroger Fulfillment Center in Romulus Michigan this morning at 4am. Always getting positive responses from our future brothers and sisters. If you see a Kroger Fulfillment Center vehicle or know someone please tell them to sign a card for the Teamsters.
