I must say I am beyond grateful on this full moon in Ta**us!! Just thinking about the fact that it's been almost 12 years of being a professional full-time NATURAL HAIR stylist and close to 7 years of operating as a salon owner.... this fills me with joy!!
I started out in the bathroom doing my mommas hair 26 years ago. I am grateful for the love and support from ALL those who have allowed me to bless their crowns.
I remember walking away from a fullttime job to a chair with nobody in it but I prayed and carried on as if I had a waiting list of pple wanting my services. 🙏🏽
I remember someone saying to me about owning a salon " well it's not what it's all cramped up to be out there so when you need to come back there will be a chair here waiting for you.....no words of encouragement smh...🤦🏽♀️
Instead of letting that fear to be projected on me I carried on.
I remember someone saying to me " You're not going to make it out here doing natural hair, you should make lace front wigs, that will definitely bring you success".....🧐
I thought twice....even bought a lace front wig making class and then I remembered my mission.....my goal and my heart.....
I'm me, not a copy and paste of somebody else...just me...... I can only be me, i can only walk my own path.
I don't need permission from others to do so.

We had to reschedule our last appointment due to the power outage so she twisted had her do it herself for an occasion and the best part is her husband washes her locs for her locs........hes been washing them for years!!!🙌🏽😍

Her mission is to bridge the gap and build relationships between clients and the texture that grows from their scalps. She is very patient as she gently handles textures with the understanding of how delicate it truly is. Specializing in styles such as braids, twist, locs and preventitive care along with providing the basic needed treatments while educating each client on the journey to embracing a head full of healthy strands. There is a need for holistic care when it comes to black hair and Goddess Alex is one you can count on to guide you there. We do not go natural, we return to our roots.
