The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries was a sponsor of this year's 2024 Michigan Celebrate Recovery Walk & Rally held at Belle Isle.
The annual event lets individuals in recovery, their family members and friends, addiction treatment professionals, prevention professionals, and the many others who support healthy communities participate in a community event that celebrates recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Our clients and staff from Genesis House 3 also attended and enjoy the festivities.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, speakers, and vendors who made this event a success!
Today, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who risked everything, and the strength of a nation united.
As we remember the tragic events of 9/11, we also reflect on the power of community and compassion. At Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, we stand together, helping those in need with love and hope – just as we saw so many rise to help one another in the aftermath of that tragic day.
Let’s continue to build a better tomorrow by spreading kindness, offering support, and being there for one another. ❤️
