After Melvin long battle with schizoaffective disorder, my family lost a son, brother, uncle, and friend in May of 2023 to suicide.

We are all forever changed by this tragic event. My hope is that through education and awareness, those suffering with a mental illness will be prompted to seek help. This year, MKB Mental Health Resource will be participating in the Spirit Filled Gospel Celebration for a fundraiser. Funds from this event will fund our organization to offer educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support those affected by mental health which is dedicated to our mission.

We would be honored if you could attend this special event and support our cause. Your donation will help us make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Behold the Harvest Center is pleased to announce our partnership with MKB Mental Health Resource Center as we partner together to provide a fundraising event for the month of September for the National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

Please Join us at the 8th annual Spirit-Filled Gospel Celebration on Saturday, September 28th at 3:00 PM at 1605 Carrollton-Villa Rica Highway, Villa Rica, GA 30180, for the launching of MKB Mental Health Resource Center. A nonprofit organization founded by Rosalind Turner in honor of her late son, Melvin Brown who suffered from a schizoaffective disorder. The program will be used as a fundraiser for MKB Mental Health Resource Center. Mental health and healthcare professionals are asked to donate their time and resources to help make this program a successful event and provide resources to the community.

Your donation of your time and resources is greatly appreciated and we honor your sacrifice for the greater good.
