Our staff got together and hosted a Trunk or Treat event for all our children and adolescents. Our staff and patients all enjoyed a fun-filled time with candy, games and music! It was a great day for all to come together and celebrate the holiday.

Richard from our Business Development Team collaborated with our cafeteria staff by handing out delicious vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with purple icing to our patients and staff for Delaware Goes Purple. Delaware Goes Purple assists families and individuals struggling with addiction through awareness, education and advocacy.

Richard recently met with Mental Edge Counseling, LLC. and Enhanced Edge leadership to establish a partnership. He met Zoe, Alexis, and Whisper, the dog. They use quantitative EEGs, neurofeedback, and biofeedback in addition to therapy.

Last week, we were able to connect with DelmarvaLife on WBOC TV 16 Delmarva's News Leader. There theme is "we connect you with neighbors and local businesses in your community to help you live your best life, right here on Delmarva.”

Our Director of Business Development, Richard, met with several agencies at the Purple Ribbon Cutting Event in New Castle Delaware last night. He was able to meet with organizations working with domestic violence and took photos with the lovely ladies with Women of Color Task Force and even took a photo with Ms. Delaware!

Our Delaware Liaison, Rachel, had the privilege of cooking a meal for the community to be served at Shepards Office in Georgetown. In addition, Rachel was also able to sit down with the staff and discuss the services we offer those in need at Dover Behavioral Health.

Our Maryland Liaison was able to meet with the ladies at For All Seasons (FAS) in Denton, MD to collaborate on how Dover Behavioral Health can be beneficial for their patients. Our liaison was also able to watch a neurofeedback treatment session that FAS provides.

This month, we were honored to be a sponsor for the 14th annual Military and Veteran MH Summit. It was held at the Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront. Our Director of Business Development, Richard, met with the Commissioner of Veteran's Affairs, Douglas, to discuss mental health and substance use support for our veterans. Richard also addressed the crowd to speak on the services offered by our two programs.
