Q: How should I care for my skin after a filler treatment?

A: After a filler treatment, we recommend not touching the area for the remainder of the day. If you notice swelling, you can apply ice throughout the day and take Tylenol as needed to help with soreness. No makeup should be applied for 24 hours, but you may clean your skin with water and a gentle cleanser. You should avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and dental procedures for 2 to 4 weeks post-injection.
