Before the weekend kicks off, we'd like to thank the Morris County Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to their Morris County Women in Government event where Morris County Commissioner Director Christine Myers and Morris County Administrator Deena Leary were the distinguished guest speakers.

Thank you, Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House, for inviting us to be a part of your Teens at Work event! Not only does "The Nabe" provide teens with job opportunities for the summer, but they also make sure that those teens get educational opportunities while they're there!

Stephanie, Sherina, and Sullivan were invited to speak to their teenage summer staff about financial health and our HPNJ programs. We're so grateful for all that Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House does for the community and glad to be able to partner up for educational opportunities like these!

We're so grateful to Wells Fargo for partnering with us in the work we do in the community and for inviting us to be a part of this weekend's Advancing Homeownership Fair held at the Kean University campus! Our staff members were able to connect with the community, counsel prospective homeowners, and share their knowledge on various panels! Thank you, Wells Fargo!

With the first day of August comes the first of our birthday celebrations for Adelaida! Our new Executive Office Manager celebrates a new trip around the sun and we couldn't be happier for her. Join us in wishing her a happy birthday!

administrative expertise spans data entry, record management, bookkeeping, and family liaison
roles. With a robust background in customer service, Adelaida describes herself as a dedicated
people person who finds genuine fulfillment in assisting others. She finds solving customer
problems and guiding them to the right products or services particularly rewarding. Adelaida takes
pride in overcoming challenges, providing effective solutions, and ensuring every customer
interaction ends on a positive note. Her focus on establishing trust and ensuring customers feel
valued underscores her commitment to exceptional service delivery. Beyond her professional
achievements, she enjoys outdoor activities such as biking and hiking, and actively promotes a
healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition.

Throughout his career, Sullivan has demonstrated his passion to leverage his analytical skills to drive business growth and enhance market presence. His academic background and collaborative nature position him to offer innovative solutions and perspectives for business growth and capacity building. Sully has garnered a wide range of expertise in customer relationship management and strategic marketing initiatives.

Congratulations to our very own Sherina Caban! Sherina was just promoted to the position of Affordable Housing Associate Director where she will focus on the expansion of our Affordable Housing initiatives and their policy and procedural protocol. She'll also be leading our new intern placement program. She did an amazing job in overseeing the launch of our Financial Empowerment program in 2023 and we're excited to see the incredible things she achieves in her new role!

As she continues to develop her already formidable skills, she's been participating in a leadership development program through a scholarship provided by NeighborWorks America where she receives one on one coaching from NW network professionals. Congratulations, Sherina!!!

Congratulations are in order! Ms. Australlyn Aidoo just passed her HUD certification and has become the newest HUD-certified counselor on our staff! A HUD certification is important, as it proves that the counselors understand the intricacies of the American housing system and are therefore fully qualified to advise our clients. Congratulations, Australlyn!

Last week, we attended the NCJAR Housing Fair and Expo in Newark New Jersey and were able to connect with funding partners and potential homeowners throughout New Jersey who were interested in Homeownership and Financial Stability. It was a great event! Thank you for the invite, NCJAR!
