🎒14th Annual Take Flight College Send-Off 🎓
Compudopt Chicago and AT&T gifted 200 computers to college students living in public housing. Students also received dorm supplies including sheets, towels, lamps, and backpacks to prepare them for the academic year!

The event was hosted by the Chicago Housing Authority in conjunction with Springboard to Success at Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox.

🤝Engaged Learners at Loyola🐺
Compudopt Chicago recently attended the community partner gathering at Loyola University Chicago's Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship.

At this event, the Chicago team attended workshops on how to engage college students in internships and volunteer work and connected with other local nonprofits and community organizations. The team also heard from Executive Director Patrick Green on the importance of Engaged Learning for Loyola and community partners.

Compudopt Chicago extends our gratitude to volunteers from the CTS Corporation. Volunteers prepared 600 computers for distribution! 💻➡️📦

💻Preparing Scholars for High School🎓
Compudopt Chicago provided 120 laptops to students at Cristo Rey Jesuit H.S., Chicago, IL in association with the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund.
DMSF's Director of Development Mallory Kolodziej shared, "[Students] were so excited to receive [the laptops] and this will be a tremendous help to them over the course of their time in high school."

In Chicagoland, STEAM Team participants at Joliet Public Library built their own Remote Control Cars and took them for a test drive!

💻Bridging the Divide in Englewood👨‍👩‍👧
Compudopt Chicago and Teamwork Englewood distributed 120+ laptops to families in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.

Teamwork Englewood also partners with Compudopt Chicago to provide Digital Skill Builder Programs so adults are empowered to use their digital devices. 👩🏽‍💻👨🏻‍💻

Our efforts in this historic neighborhood allow South Side families to have the tools they need to succeed in school, work, and everyday life!

🚺Happy Women’s History Month!🚺

Compudopt Chicago had the joy of participating in the Women’s History Month Digital Equity Event with the Cook County Office of the President; Director of Digital Equity, Kyla Williams Tate, and Harper College.

Compudopt distributed 150+ laptop computers to community members in attendance. 👩🏽‍💻

We are excited to partner with the City of Chicago for a month-long campaign encouraging Chicago’s business community and large organizations to donate computers and laptops no longer in use to be refurbished and given to families who need a device.

We would love for you to donate to Compudopt! We give away refurbished devices for FREE to families who have children in K-12 education and do not currently have a computer in the home.

The Jackson at Woodlawn Park in Chicago is getting new computers! Thanks to Compudopt, we started to distribute free computers to residents. This is part of an ongoing project with QUILT and NODE Networks that includes equipment and high speed internet access for residents

Back in November, we were able to provide laptops to graduating seniors at six local high schools. We have 646 grads still in need of their own device before school starts in the fall.

Earlier this week we held a computer distribution at the New Life Centers. Thanks to AT&T, we gave away laptops to 100 students. We were honored to have former Chicago Bulls great Bill Wennington in attendance to sign autographs and help pass out computers. Such a great event!
