“I’m grateful for the toilet paper, deodorant and body wash. It seems small but makes such an impact on my and everyone’s life,” a Laura, a client explained.

Sometimes little things mean a lot. For Hope’s Front Door clients receiving toiletry items can have a big impact on the lives of their families as they work towards household stability.

We thank Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church-Darien (olopdarien.org)for collecting over 1300 toiletry items from toothpaste to body wash. HFD is also sending a shout out to Hustle Fitness- Willowbrook (hustlefitness.com/willowbrook) for collecting hygiene items in December and hosting a workout fundraiser, raising over $200 for us!

To learn more about holding a toiletry drive, contact us at [email protected] or click on Wish List (https://rb.gy/rwg2hw) to view needed items.

Solutions when you walk in

Hope’s Front Door provides an entry point to social services for members of our community who need immediate assistance and help in finding continuing assistance. The guiding theme of our organization is to assess—in a caring and compassionate manner—the immediate needs of each client and to meet those immediate needs using our limited funds and resources. We then offer specific guidance toward other helping organizations in our community that can provide continuing care and assistance on the path to self-sufficiency.
