Here at TRYAbility we not only provide a hard working atmosphere but also one where everyone can have fun! These patients are using our new piece of equipment, the Rifton Tram. This new Rifton walker allows for safe overground gait training and makes a difference everyday in our patients lives.

Hi everyone! Here we have one of our hardest working patients, Larry. In this video he’s using a new TSS or Transcutaneous Spinal Stimulation device for the Aspire Study. This study investigates the improvement and restoration of upper extremity motor function in patients who experience limited function due to a spinal cord injury.

I hope everyone is having a great start of their week! Here we have a patient working on gait training using the litegait/ treadmill.
Benefits:
~ allows patients to get up and out of their chairs
~ provides postural stability
~ improves client’s gait pattern
~ helps with lower extremity strengthening
~ enables task-specific training
~ improves walking velocity and endurance
~ weight bearing
This patient is also using the Transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation (TSS)
Benefit of TSS with the litegait/ treadmill set up:
~ TSS is trying to induce neuro plasticity while using a proper gait pattern. This causes a greater carry over into regular overground walking.

Hi Everyone! The cage, which is seen here, can be used in multiple ways depending on each patients needs. This patients exercise focuses on the increase of muscle mass in his legs. Here at TRYAbility we make PT functional and fun! This is where traditional therapy ends and TRYAbility begins💪

Happy Father’s Day from TRYAbility to all of the amazing dad’s! Here we have our new PT Dana working with one of our patients on the Vibration Plate. The Vibration Plate reduces spasticity, and helps improve muscle strength and coordination. With all the innovative equipment we have this is where traditional therapy ends and TRYAbility begins💪

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday afternoon! Here one of our founders, Sakina, is working with a patient on the Ski ergometer. The way Sakina has the patient positioned is specifically targeting his core/abdominal and upper extremity muscles. This further leads to the improvement of muscular strength and also cardiovascular endurance.

PLEASE consider participating if you qualify. There are very few promising pharma trials for those with SCI. It will only be available to all SCI patients if the company can find enough participants to successfully complete the trial.
