My Planetary Series marbles are made of soft glass in the hot shop rather than in my flamework studio. Solid and beautiful, the satin finish is achieved with a sandblaster. Each marble is unique and one of a kind.

The color achieved while making one of my signature marbles is created by fuming precious metals onto the hot glass. Because this part of each marble is really more art than science no two marbles are exactly alike. There is still no perfect ratio of fumed metal to glass but I keep trying!
