To guide us during this season of transition at STORYCHURCH, Pastor Jeremy posted an update and provided local churches & other groups to help us continue to grow in community & care for one another. Visit storychurch.org/next for more info.
Let Us - October 17, 2021
This week Pastor Jeremy reminded us that sometimes we may not see the fulfillment of the dreams we pray for. However, we must continue to be faithful & committed to the plan God has because he uses our prayers to paved the way for others to bring that dream to completion.
What a great day at STORYCHURCH! We always love getting together to celebrate, pray and worship with each other. This community has been a refuge, a resource, a restart & a recommitment for so many and we are honored to be doing life alongside you all!
God delights in us simply being present with him.
"Be still and know that I am God." Psalms 46:10

10 2021 Update An important update from Pastor Jeremy
When we step out in hope & faith, we may experience struggles despite our assurance and confidence in God & his leading. Having a community of support, love & encouragement can be exactly what we need during those moments. STORYCHURCH exists to be that community of care & love.
Every Sunday there is so much that happens behind the scenes to prepare for our in-person & online services. We appreciate our Dream Team that makes it all happen! We enjoy serving & worshipping alongside our amazing community here at STORYCHURCH! Join us on Sundays at 10am.
A bridge called faith - October 03, 2021
Throughout our WORK series, Pastors Jeremy and Brittny have talked about two great books: "Every Good Endeavor" by Timothy Keller and "He Saw That It Was Good" by Sho Baraka. If you want to delve into this topic a bit more, we highly recommend reading these books.
Yesterday we had our first ourdoor service in Chatham county and we could not have had a better day for it! It was great to meet everyone and worship together. We look forward to the this campus opening soon! You can find more info at www.storychurch.org/chatham.

Pastor Jeremy continued our WORK series with 5 ways we can worship God and benefit others through our work.
Soemtimes it can be easy to separate work from worship, worry about our to-do list or focus on doing what it takes to get ahead. However, we are called to be a part of something bigger. We need to remember that our work shouldn't be causing problems but rather creating blessing and benefit to those around us. God has created us as different and diverse people to work together and honor one another.
Take time this week to ask yourself the following questions. Then ask God to help you worship him in the work you are doing.
1) Has any part of your work become so consuming that it has taken over your heart?
2) How can you come together with your coworkers to benefit others in your workplace?
3) Are you really appreciating the differences in others?
4) Is your work a blessing to others?
5) Are you pursuing excellence?
If you have prayer requests, please text our prayer team anytime at 919-964-0649 or email them at [email protected].
The pandemic kept us from seeing one another for awhile, there is still bit more space between us. However, we love that we are able to have in-person & online services now and that we have continued building community & caring for each other through it all!

Sunday at STORYCHURCH was filled with new friends, and Pastor Jeremy continued our WORK series by challenging 3 work myths. We had communion together and ended with a liturgy from that talks about using our work commute to ask God how he wants to work through us in our places of work.
As we move closer to opening our Chatham Campus, we will be gathering together there for an outdoor service on Sunday, Sept. 26. More details to come but we are looking foward to meeting everyone from that community and worshipping together!
We invite you to join us Sundays @ 10am and hope you have a great week!

A New Liturgy is has an amazing compilation of liturgies that help us journey with God and open our hearts to him through music, prayer, scripture and space.
As STORYCHURCH continues in our WORK series, A New Liturgy No. 5 is a great two-part liturgy about recapturing the holy possibility of our commutes.
On the way to work, the first Liturgy helps us look at the possibilities and ask "God...What do You want to do through me today in my job? May my hands, voice, and heart help to bring Your Kingdom here on earth."
And on the way home from work, Part TWO helps us reflect on the day, confess our sins, forgive those who have wronged us, and let it all go.
(Excerpt from www.anewliturgy.com)
We pray this helps you set a holy intention for your work and be open to the possibilities God has for you throughout the day.
