Children church is not a drop off room where children come and just sit until their parents come to get them.
This is their spiritual home
where they are developed in their familial habits, learn values, family history, faith, thoughts, and behaviors; here they are spiritually nurtured by loving teachers that have their best interest in mind.
They are an important part of the church family and are taught and trained in the ways of the Lord.

Thank God for the Message Pastor Peggy House delivered today that admonished us of this very important verse in scripture:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25 kjv

Pastor Peggy House backed that scripture up by stating that we need each other and that there’s strength in our coming together by doing so.
She also thanked the followers of those on Facebook that assembles in that manner when they cannot assemble themselves together, but also reminds us that God’s Word defines the ultimate need for us to come together.

God wants us to earnestly pray for each other and to encourage each other because of the challenges and struggles that exist in these perilous times!

What say ye about this?
“A strong foundation of the home 🏠makes a strong family 👭🏾👨‍👨‍👧👫🏽that creates strong communities that can help establish a strong church ⛪️!”

I was blessed to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary today and to speak at our Sister Church, The Church of God of Prophecy on Denfield Street where Jerry Sands have been the Pastor for 11 years.
My Message was: Connect To Share.
My focus was that God is doing a great work amongst the body of Christ and that the unity of the body is not contingent on being physically together by one location but being unified as one in spirit and as one in heart.
I also encouraged us to remain focused on The Lord opposed to what is going on around us!
It was a blessing to be in fellowship and worship with our brothers and sisters!

We had 12 kids at Children’s Church today.
These are the baseball caps Brother Alarek Lemus donated the kids back in the spring.
Thank you so much Brother Alarek for your generosity!
God honors our children when they pray!

The Lord was truly Praised and highly lifted up today from Sunday School throughout the entire service.
There was a Spirit of Honor and Praise given to God and in return God favored us with a Spirit of Deliverance for our souls!

In the absence of Pastor Peggy House due to her attending our 102nd year General Assembly in Florida, we were blessed to receive
a powerful anointed message from
Frankia Boose(her husband Brother Rudolph Doron Boose in her support) and a large host of family and members from our sister church The Church of God of Prophecy 1200 S. State Street in Raleigh, NC.

Where the Spirit Of The Lord is, there is Liberty!
My mom use to say this during her lifetime: “God is doing great wonders, so don’t wonder about Him!”
Family of God continue in prayer, good works, and in obedience to the Lord!

Introducing Serenity Cooley our Commmuity Outreach Coordinator, who along with women volunteers from our local church serve the Durham Rescue Mission once a month.
Our mission is to serve our community to show forth the Love of God.
Through the Durham Rescue Mission we are able to connect with women who may be going through different life struggles.
We have the opportunity to help serve meals, pray with them, and share advise when asked.
Please continue to pray with us as we touch the lives in our community.

Clear Minds Clear Skies Healing Ministry

Tammy Norris and Jessie Jacobs are our Ministry Leaders for this Help Program the Lord has instituted within our location.
They both have a heart to help others because of their own experiences.
This group provides a non judgmental environment to those that are experiencing life challenges, to come together and be encouragers one to another.
The group meets the second and the last Saturday of each month @ 2:00pm.
Come be a part of the solution to healing!
