The other day I mentioned that Chinese New Year is based on the lunar calendar. Let’s get into that a bit more! Each lunar 🌙 cycle has 60 years but every 12 years is a small cycle. This is where the animals come into play. Each of the 12 years is defined by an animal and goes in rotation. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. So like I said the other day, year 2021 is the year of the Ox, meaning year 2022 will be the year of the Tiger and so on and so forth. Did you already know your Chinese zodiac sign? Chinese New Year 🧧 never falls on the same date year to year. Why? Because it follows the lunar calendar 🌙🗓 this year it will be on February 12th and will be the year of the Ox 🐮

I’m feeling extra thankful and blessed after the crazy year we’ve had. As we are closing out the year soon, it has me looking back on memories of growing up at the restaurant and all of the amazing people I’ve been able to meet because of it. Food is a staple in all cultures and it brings people together whether it’s holidays, birthdays, or any celebration.
We’ve been open 30 years can you believe it?! How long have you been coming here to eat? Do you have any memories spent dining with us or at home gathered with our food? We would love to hear it! I will post a little introduction of myself in the comments if you don’t already know me 😁

This year for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day DINNER we will NOT be allowing anyone to wait in the lobby for their order.
Starting tonight for our dinner shift we will ask for your best contact phone number when placing your order. We will let you know about how long the wait should be. When you arrive, please do NOT enter the restaurant. We will call you when your order is ready.
If you come in and your order is not yet ready, you will be asked to wait outside or in your car. Also, we will not be taking any payments over the phone. However, we do accept Apple Pay and google pay for a contactless payment as well as regular card and cash payments
