June is a BIG month for Moore County! In the coming weeks, Pinehurst and Southern Pines will see hundreds of thousands of people visit for the 2024 US Open. Our Patrick’s Pointe project is just minutes from the course where some of the best golfers in the world will be playing next week. ⏪ Wednesday rewind to when Douglas Development Corporation, a top DC area real estate developer, teamed up with Finley Design for a new residential project in Capitol Heights, MD. The goal was to design a cost-effective, mid-rise HUD-financed apartment complex achieving max density on a sloping site. Despite COVID-related challenges in 2021, Finley’s innovative, economical design strategy succeeded. Addison Row passed HUD inspections with ease, was built on budget, and leased quickly, leading to an immediate Phase 2 contract. 🏢✨ Finley Design has crafted a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing design for Edinburgh Development’s Wendell Village apartment complex in the Triangle area of North Carolina. With creative elements like contemporary and farmhouse architectural features, two-dimensional facades with accent trim, and asymmetrical gables, the project delivers an urban presence that appeals to both the local jurisdiction and the public. The design maximizes density while respecting budget constraints, creating a pedestrian-scaled neighborhood with desirable amenities such as pool facilities, outdoor fitness spots, and dog parks. This project sets a new standard for multifamily design in Wendell.

💫 Flashing back to this beauty!

Elevation Real Estate Group sought to create a garden-style apartment complex with an urban feel in Mooresville, NC. For this project, the Group looked to Finley Design, whom they had worked with on numerous retail developments previously. To demonstrate their capabilities in multifamily design and showcase a track record of success, Finley organized tours of two projects – Watercourse and Parkstone – for Elevation and potential investors. By the end of the tour, Elevation Real Estate Group was confident that Finley Design could bring their vision for Granger Village to life.
