In commemoration of Juneteenth, the Cooperative Extension will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th. Juneteenth is a significant day in American history, marking the end of slavery and celebrating African American freedom and achievements. We honor this day by reflecting on our past, recognizing the ongoing struggle for equality, and committing to fostering a more inclusive future.
We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to learn about the history and significance of Juneteenth, participate in local events, and support Black-owned businesses in our community.
We will resume our regular hours on Thursday, June 20th.
