Hello Beautiful! 🌟 I’m Joy, owner of Nailz + Beauty and I’m thrilled to meet you! Thanks for stopping by to hear my story. 💖

So, here’s the scoop: Back in 2006, I found myself enrolling in nail school just before college - all because of a little summer boredom and some encouragement from my fabulous nail artist. 💅

Post-nail school, I juggled college life and nail magic as my fun side gig. After college, I stepped into the corporate world, dreaming big about becoming a CEO. But, as it turns out, the corporate ladder wasn’t quite my fit.

Fast forward to 8 adventure-packed years in banking and finance, I took another exciting turn in 2016 (I think! 😄) and earned my esthetician license. Oh, the dilemma of whether to open my own beauty space… Well, after some heart-to-hearts with the Big Guy upstairs, I leaped into entrepreneurship in 2017 with a cozy roster of 5 clients. Talk about faith in action!

Through the rollercoaster of running my business, I’ve been blessed with incredible clients - some stayed, some moved on, but all cherished. I’m the kind of beauty pro who never forgets a detail about my clients. It doesn’t matter if years have passed; when we reconnect, it’s as if no time has elapsed at all. I treasure each and every one of my clients, making every reunion feel like picking up right where we left off. Clients taught me priceless lessons, like setting boundaries (after a tough but eye-opening mental health break) and embracing every ‘No’ as a gentle nudge towards a new path.

Now, I’m embarking on a fresh chapter, focusing on education and embracing the beautiful unknown. Guided by faith for what lies ahead. 🌈✨
