Enjoying time with my favorite nephew! The good news is…he’s healing up right on track. Yay!
Next big step anticipated in mid to late August.
After 11 months of waiting on the systems, he is now on the radar to recieve better care and support within a dialysis program.
It’s such a relief.

Thanks to everyone who sent up prayers, healing vibes and well wishes, to this point.
Your love and financial support was so crucial in our time of extreme need. Hopefully, things will begin to improve, in so many ways, as we go forward.

Brad had enough energy for us to walk outside to the complex fountain today, after his bandage change and surgery follow up appointment this morning.

Choosing a cosmetologist career was the best choice for me, as it allows for creativity and financial flow, while offering flexibility.
It’s hard, physical work, there are no built in retirement benefits, and the work encompasses so many skills outside of what they teach you in beauty school…but this career is so rewarding when your clients smile and love their look.
Instilling confidence in others, creates a positive vibration that ripples out into the world. ❤️

My Mom used to refer to M&M’s as medicine. She’s not wrong, in the middle of a long salon day, these little, colorful, bits of candy can feel like your friend. 😁

Kenra 25 volume spray hit the market a year after I got my cosmetology license! It’s still my favorite hairspray for firm hold without having to fog up the room. It’s water soluble, so it shampoos away easily with no buildup. Buildup was a big problem back in the 80’s when folks were using drug store brands of ‘hair glue’.
While this spray IS strong enough to handle ‘mall bangs’ of the 80’s, it’s also inconspicuous enough to perform a casual hold for your daily 2024 look. It’s all about technique and usage!
Kenra 25 spray and I have been making the world a more beautiful place since this hairspray came in a black can, and we are still going strong!

I wish you a lovely holiday season and thank you for your continued patronage.

Please note a few changes concerning the salon-

Temporarily, you will only be able to book 12 weeks in advance online.

I know that you have been used to booking 20+ weeks out, but I must restrict this method, while I deal with family concerns and private demands.

I will be limiting Monday scheduling availability until further notice. Previously scheduled Monday bookings will be honored to the best of my ability. Plan to come unless you hear differently from me. 😉

Please let me know, if you can only come for services on Mondays, and I will do my best to find you a spot.

I anticipate both of the above changes shifting back to previous policies once things have calmed down, but I must take care of my family concerns, while balancing my business commitments.
I truly appreciate your understanding.

Also,
There is a price increase of 1. on most services going forward.
As the cost of doing business and supplies rise, I must stay competitive.
My last price increase was in 2021.

Take care of your summer hair!

Look at this fun stand up that I was gifted!! She’s cute like this but I’m planning a to help her look her best after coming out of storage. We all need a little refresh once in awhile. Updates coming as time allows for the upgraded. Thx to the ladies who made this transfer happen!
