“Once we learned about Durham Habitat and its mission, we knew this could be our chance,” Huy said. “Purchasing a home has changed our lives. We are so blessed.”
With their Habitat Home, Linh and Huy have more time to enjoy their family | Durham Habitat for Humanity Rental homes in their price range were older and poorly insulated—meaning higher utility bills and more work hours to pay for them. They just couldn’t get ahead.
Thank you Tim!! We are so appreciative of the time and energy you give to our cause!
Our Tim Lansing is a hard worker and completely dependable volunteer. Habitat for Humanity of Durham can always count on him to show up and collaborate with site supervisors about whatever needs doing each day. Because he has devoted years of service to Habitat, Tim offers many helpful insights and suggestions about home-building. When our previous volunteer leader stepped down, Tim stepped up as the framing crew’s group leader, bringing to the role great competence and success. He also regularly assists Habitat staff in leading large onsite volunteer groups. Tim is a true pleasure to work with and be around.
