Jordan Lewis Missions
JLM was established to honor the life and legacy of Jordan Lewis, who went to be with Jesus at age 23
By God's grace, we are believing to raise $70,000 total before the end of the year for several projects reaching the unreached around the world, including motorbikes for pastors in Nepal, finishing our Bible translation project in Tanzania, and equipment for evangelism in Congo. Our teams in China are reaching 21 former unengaged, unreached people groups (UUPGs). In one of these, the Luoluopo, our missionaries shared the gospel with a man who was critically ill.
They told him about the love of Christ and his power to save, and he accepted Jesus. Then they prayed for him, and he was healed and got up to praise God! Since then, he has started to read the Bible and memorize many verses - the last time the team visited him, he recited several verses as they rejoiced.
As war in the Middle East rages, at Jordan Lewis Missions (JLM) we are focused on long-term solutions through Gospel initiatives. This is the vision of our new Alkarma TV network show, “What Are You Thinking?".
To finish production of our first 20 powerful episodes by the end of the year, $15,000 is all that is needed. Read more in our latest newsletter here: For Such a Time As This! - https://mailchi.mp/05270289a087/alkarma - and give here: https://jordanlewismissions.org/whatareyouthinking/
A group of idolatrous people in a closed country worshiped “Hanuman” the monkey god, and they would worship with lamps that they prepared. Then they heard the story of Jesus Christ and His crucifixion from our team, who was visiting to plan a water pump installation in their area. They left the worship of the monkey god and decided to worship Jesus only. Thank God for this whole group of people who are now in Jesus' family!
There are approximately 1.5 million Muslims in the greater New York metropolitan area, which is over 22% of all Muslims in the entire U.S. JLM’s full-time missionary to this community, Emma, is leading people to Christ in NYC on a weekly basis.Recently as Emma was driving, she noticed an elderly Bengali woman outside on the sidewalk crying close to her building. She stopped the car and went over and simply put her arms around her and held her. The woman started sobbing uncontrollably.
This woman was new to the U.S., living with her daughter and son-in-law, and they were treating her very badly, ordering her around like a slave in the home. After Emma listened to her and sympathized with her, she shared the Gospel with the woman, who immediately decided to follow Christ.
The JLM team in Southeast Asia has been extremely fruitful. Our team reached a Bangla migrant community in a major city. "John" was the first person who received Christ, and he was discipled and trained by the team. He felt called by God to become a full-time worker himself, and returned to his home village. After returning, John quickly led his wife and parents, a few relatives, and several neighbors to faith, and he started a house church. Four have received visions of Christ and nine have been baptized, one of which is an imam (priest). Please pray for John and the entire village.

Recently during Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims, our team in this closed country happily cooked food, packed meals, and then distributed them on the street corner to those who were fasting, for their fast-breaking evening meal. This was an act of love for their neighbors, displaying community solidarity, and it opened a door to minister to many people in the area.
JLM is providing clean water, and the Living Water, to remote areas of Nepal. We provided funds for 4 water pumps for schools that are teaching children who are labeled lower caste, left with no benefits. Recently, a generous donor sent funds for 2 more water pumps. One was installed in an impoverished community, and the other was given to the Rana ethnic group.. This is the first time either community had received any help like this, and they were very touched by the love of God.
Every time this woman was pregnant, her babies died before birth. Our team was visiting this family and prayed for them, and God gave them twins! This miracle brought the whole family to faith in Jesus.
Another woman was suffering from tuberculosis, and some of our local house church leaders prayed for her. She was completely healed, and has been brought to faith in Jesus along with her family.
“And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.” (Mark 16:20)
Our JLM missionary in NYC, Emma, is reaching out to Muslims daily. Recently she ran into a man that she had shared the gospel with last year, giving him a New Testament as well. At the time, he was open to the gospel, but said he was not ready to follow Jesus. However this time, as she talked with him and explained more about the gospel, he made a decision to follow Christ.
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9)

Pakistan has the world’s second-highest number of out-of-school children, with an estimated 22.8 million children aged 5-16 not attending school. This is 44% of the total population in this age group (from unicef.org). Our team is providing open-air primary schools in remote areas, serving children who otherwise would be unable to go to school to get a basic education, as well as Bible schools to teach children the good news of the gospel. We currently have 23 educational and Bible schools, with plans to start 50 by 2025.
In a remote part of the Congo, there are many people in villages who have NEVER heard the gospel of Jesus. JLM is partnering with our friend “Momma” Pastor Rose Phambu and her team, and they reached more than 33 of these villages in June and July, especially targeting the next generation. They shared the gospel with more than 1100 children and youth ages 3-18, as well as their mothers. They also gave out toys, soccer balls and jerseys, and served meals. They gave backpacks to the students at an entire high school, and enough washable pads to the girls to last at least a year, while preaching the Word. God is moving among the young people of Congo!
