If you would like to vote by absentee ballot in the town election, or all elections this year, please email me at [email protected] and I will send you an absentee ballot application.
The State Primary Election is Tuesday, September 4th.
The deadline to register to vote or change party affiliation is Wednesday, August 15th.
Polls will be open from 7am-8pm.
All voting in Duxbury takes place at the Lt. Timothy Steele Athletic Building, 130 Saint George Street.
Absentee Ballots are available at the Town Clerk's office.

Duxbury's 2018 Annual Town Meeting concluded last night.
Thanks to all for your hard work and participation!
Due to the forecasted blizzard, town hall will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13th
Town Meeting continuing tonight, Monday March 12th.
We begin with article 19 at 7pm at the PAC
Town Meeting will continue on Monday night starting at 7pm at the PAC.
Meeting will resume with Article 19.
Due to the timing and expected impact of tomorrow's forecasted storm, Duxbury Town Hall will be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 2nd.
The Duxbury Senior Center , 10 Mayflower Street, will be open as a shelter for those residents in need of shelter during the storm.
I have been to many meetings in the Mural Room at Duxbury Town Hall and often wondered about the painting - the brief history of the Mural turned up recently in the office.
In addition to the Town Hall, the library, recreation, senior center and schools will be closed on Thursday, January 4th.

While today is election day in many communities, there is no election in Duxbury.
The next election scheduled in Duxbury : Annual Town Election, March 2018.
The Massachusetts Town Clerks Association asked for a history of the Town Clerks who have served the Town of Duxbury.
With the help of Carolyn, DR&HS super archivist, we were able to provide a list dating back to 1642.
So proud to be one of 23 Town Clerks to serve the Town during the last 375 years.
If you have not licensed your dog for 2017, please stop by the Town Clerk's office or purchase your license on the town's website (www.town.duxbury.ma.us) through the Town Clerk online payment center.
PAVING ALERT!
Starting at 7 am Monday morning the town will be paving Mayflower Street from Tremont Street (3A) to the 300 block of Mayflower. The COA will be open during paving the only access /exiting to COA will be to and from Tremont St (3A).
The west end of Mayflower at East Street intersection there will be signs stating "Road Closed to Thru Traffic" this will allow residents to travel to Conservation Parking Area but no farther. Residents thinking of going to Conservation Area can only access/Exit it from the west end of Mayflower at East St. We ask all residents west of Mayflower Street to use either Congress Street (Rt.14) or Summer/Elm/Toby Garden. Residents living in the paving area please use caution when traveling in paving area watch for 18 wheel trucks traveling in your lane. We hope the paving of Mayflower St to be completed by 2 pm.

Susan C. Kelley, CMC of Town of Duxbury, has earned the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), which is awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc.
IIMC grants the CMC designation only to those municipal clerks who complete demanding education requirements; and who have a record of significant contributions to their local government, their community and state.
So proud of this achievement and proud to serve the Town of Duxbury.

Ready for early voting - ballots available at the Town Clerk's office.
Duxbury Town Hall will be open until 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as 9-3 on Saturday for voting Oct 24-Nov 4. (We will be open until 7pm on Monday, Oct 31st).
Early Voting begins October 24th and runs through November 4th.
The Town Clerk's office will be open extended hours to accommodate voters wishing to cast their ballot early. Extended hours are posted on the Town website/Town Clerk's page and will include nights and a Saturday.
Last day to register to vote in the Presidential Election is October 19th. The Town Clerk's office will be open until 8PM that day to accept voter registrations
