โ๏ธ Summer Vacation calls for โ๏ธ, ๐, and embracing mini adventure with my kids. Yesterday we stopped by Bridgewaterโs new coffee shop The Boundless Bean for ice coffees and lemonades to go. ๐ Love everything about this cozy place, especially the conversations I had with my kids about its heart-forward mission.

No act is too small to spread kindness throughout our community. ๐โจ
Three times in the last day, I found myself hearing the same exact message from three very different sources. Once from a new mom; nervous about young motherhood while her husband is deployed. Then from a 2014 commencement speech by a Navy Seal. Then again this morning during my daily guided meditation. ๐ฟ Usually when the universe wants to make sure you are listening, it will deliver a message over and over again until it clicks. โจ We may not all walk the red carpet or play a professional sport or make a huge scientific breakthrough, but we will make meaningful impacts on the lives of people in our community through every day interactions. These small acts of smiling, holding a door open, engaging in conversation, checking in on a friend, buying a cup of coffee for the person behind you in the drive-through, or grabbing an extra tag from a holiday giving tree will not only impact someone in this present moment, but will send ripples out into the world for the generations to come. ๐ One of the greatest ways we can cultivate and create joy in our own lives, is to be kind to someone else.
The Sydney Craven Memorial Fund Sparkle Library is looking for new books ๐ to share with our community. Next time you drive by the Central School, considering donating a new or gently used social emotional themed childrenโs book so that the laughter and sparkle โจ can continue on!!!!

โIf every single person in this room made it a rule that wherever you are, whenever you can, you will try to act a little kinder than is necessary- the world be a better place.โ Mr. Tushman from Wonder by R.J. Palacio

A reason to celebrate our favorite librarian? Weโll take it! is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

National Library Week is here and we donโt want to waste a single second. This week (and every week) weโd like to remind you of someone whose love for education, reading and helping others continues to live on through her students, friends, colleagues and AKHMS scholarship recipients! Anne Kenneally Hynes was the Queen of the library at EBHS for 40 years. Not just 40 years of checking books in and out but 40 years of love, knowledge, kindness, trust and friendship.
๐
So take a trip to your favorite local library, sit in a cozy corner with a good book and donโt forget to thank your local librarian for all they do!
Thank you all for sharing kindness and spreading love throughout our EB community. ๐
