Village Caregiving of Eau Claire provides the elderly with compassionate home care services that enable them to retain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes. Our knowledgeable staff is dedicated to providing personalized support so seniors can maximize their quality-of-life.
Angel and Kyleah exemplify what it means to be a caregiver for Village Caregiving. Please take a moment to read about these two lovely ladies and then you will realize why we had to choose them for this month's Caregiver of the Month.
Thank you both so much for the incredible hard work and dedication the two of you give to your clients. Caregivers like the two of you are what keeps this business running.
Keep up all the good work and we appreciate you both so much.
We got to the office this morning to discover there was no internet due to the storms that hit Eau Claire and surrounding areas last night.
The Eau Claire library graciously let us use a meeting room so that we can still continue to work hard.
This statistic from the Bureau of Labor Statistics is so inspiring to us, and we can’t wait to see how our company grows in the next few years!
Now is the time to join this quickly growing field! At Village Caregiving we are always hiring, and we hope to see your application float our way.

Happy National Dog Day from Kristen and Shelby!
Show us your adorable dogs in the comments!!
We here at VCG would like to take a moment to recognize National Senior Citizens Day.
National Senior Citizens Day, also known as World Senior Citizens Day, is celebrated annually on August 21st to recognize the contributions and achievements of senior citizens. It's a day for families, friends, and communities to show appreciation for the impact that seniors have on society and their lives.
Here are some ways to celebrate National Senior Citizens Day:
• Spend time with a senior citizen
You can visit a parent, grandparent, neighbor, or friend at their home, take them to a museum, park, or movie, or help with chores. You can also play board games, read their favorite book, or share stories and memories.
• Volunteer
You can volunteer at a senior living facility, assisted care facility, or nursing home. You can also visit elderly people who live alone.

Please help us in congratulating our caregiver of the month.
We couldn’t pick just one this time because each of them have put in so much work and are such amazing caregivers. We believed that each one of these three wonderful ladies deserved some recognition.
Congratulations to, Tracy, Dana, and Jo!
Please take a brief second to learn about these wonderful ladies
“My name is Tracy. I live in Plainfield WI. I am a mom of 3, a grandmother to 4, and a dog mom to one very sweet boy. I like to paint, I do some crafting, and spending time with all of my kiddos. All besides doing a job that I love, I look forward to seeing my clients and knowing that I am making a difference in each of their lives is very rewarding and important to me. If I can make their days a little easier, then I know at the end of the day that I have done my job well.”
“My Name is Dana. I live in Bancroft, WI. I’m 53 years old and have a 32 year old son and an 11 year old dog baby. I enjoy crocheting and riding my Harley. I love my job at Village Caregiving. I love my clients, the staff, and flexible hours, and the happiness I can bring to people.”
“My name is Jo. I'm a caregiver in the Wisconsin Rapids area. I have 3 amazing children and I have been blessed with 2 grandchildren and a third coming in August. When I am not taking care of my clients, you can find me shooting pool locally, or at a nearby tournament. I enjoy painting and listening to music to relieve the stresses of the day. I chose this profession because I love to care for people. I am honored to care for those who gave so much for us through their military service.”
Thank you ladies so very much from the bottom of our hearts for the hard work and dedication that each of you give to your clients.
Happy Flag Day! Here's to the biggest holiday that you didn't know you were supposed to celebrate.
It's true that mail delivery might not stop for Flag Day and you definitely won't be receiving a day off from work. But that doesn't mean the holiday isn't worth celebrating.
On this day 246 years ago, Congress created our national flag by commemorating Betsy Ross' creation of the Stars & Stripes.
There have been a total of 27 variations in flag design over the years, as colonies grew into states making the 50 states that are represented on the flag today by the white stars.
According to the National Flag Foundation, there is a star sewn into a blue background representing every state. The star represents justice, perseverance and vigilance. As for the colors, the red stripes are for valor and the white stripes are for purity and innocence.
Way to go Tyler!!!
Take a moment to read up and learn something fun about one of our favorite nurses!
Team Spotlight: Tyler Ebel!
Favorite part of the job: “Educating clients and caregivers on health and safety.”
Hobby: “I play guitar, sing. play video games and exercise at the gym.”
Fun fact: “I am a tournament organizer for my local video game scene, and for music I am a metal musician! Kind of odd areas of both hobbies to take part in.”
Thank you Tyler for the work you do here at VCG!
Today we celebrate 80 years since D-Day.
It was the beginning of the end of World War II.
The D-Day invasion not only gave the Allies a foothold in Europe but also prevented the Germans from sending troops from France to build up the Eastern front against Russia. Within two months of D-Day, France was liberated from N**i Germany. Within a year of D-Day, Germany surrendered to the Allies, ending the European portion of World War II
Well this is something new and fun… Maddie and Tyler are doing outdoor outreach today! Heartland Hospice put on an amazing golf fundraiser for local veterans in beautiful Wittenberg, Wisconsin!
