Looking for a robust thermal management solution? ThermoFil-HT insulation blankets are manufactured from chopped continuous filament ECR glass fibers that are mechanically needled to bond the fibers without the need for chemical binders. The result is a dimensionally stable glass fiber mat/blanket with excellent insulation properties to suit high temperature thermal applications where traditional e-glass fibers would fail. It is soft, drapable, and easily laminated for fiber containment and is perfectly suited for die cutting.

Additionally, ThermoFil-HT can be made using texturized glass fiber yarn from continuous filament glass fibers. These are made into a non-woven textile utilizing a unique processing technology. It has excellent thermal properties and the ability to expand on heating making it an ideal solution for insulating between twin skins of emission control systems, particularly where there is potential for gas flow over the fibers. ThermoFil fIbers are also available in E-Glass (ThermoFil-E) and S Glass variations (ThermoFil-S) for various temperature requirements.

Metcap is the most adaptable metal encapsulation system for insulated exhaust and charge air pipes. The lightweight outer shell is made from embossed stainless steel foil that is just .2mm thick. This is formed into shape using in-house designed and produced tools and jigs.

The specified insulation material is cut and applied directly on to the pipework provided. The formed stainless steel shells are then fitted around the insulation and securely welded together and on to the pipe to form the required protective outer covering.

Metcap provides a robust, durable and lightweight finish that has a high visual appeal and is also fully oil and water resistant.
