Today's real-life Ethan Allen design project comes from Kayla McCullough of our Phoenix Design Center. Her client had purchased a home with beautiful Tuscan bones—ironwork light fixtures, Saltillo tiles—but it had come furnished with dark burgundy upholstery and heavy wine-red drapery.

"My clients wanted something you'd see in a magazine, something inspiring to others," she said. "I gave them custom dual-fabric upholstery, custom drapery, custom Roman shades, custom rugs and artwork—with Ethan Allen, the sky's the limit."
