As an integral part of Aglow International, we represent fresh, new growth in the spiritual ground that has been tilled for over 55 years. Our primary focus is found in Ephesians 3:17-

The book referenced in this podcast is: “So the Next Generation will Know” by Sean McDowell and J. Warner Wallace.

Praise the Lord for His sustaining Word of Life! I often wonder if the Lord smiled when He created coffee beans knowing how much joy it would bring His people throughout history!
Did you know that history traces the coffee bean to its origins in Ethiopia around 800 AD when a goat herder found his goats full of energy after eating the coffee berries (the beans are actually the seeds inside the berry). The goat herder shared the news with local monks and from their word spread across the globe.
Over time, missionaries and other travelers carried coffee seeds to new lands and soon coffee was a blessing around the globe!
So, I suppose as Christians spread the Gospel to the four corners of the earth, they also brought coffee with them making our modern signage true: "First Jesus, Then Coffee!" 😉

Our Story
What is Aglow Generations?
Aglow Generations is an integral part of Aglow International with a focus on raising the next generation. In Generations, we want to bring forth fresh, new growth in the fertile spiritual ground that has been tilled in Aglow International for 50 years. In each nation powerful Kingdom communities are being founded on the fullness of Christ where people of all ages are empowered to know who they are in Christ and make Him known in their communities, bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.
The heart of Aglow Generations is young people being active and empowered in the Aglow ministry. We need the wisdom of the older and the zeal of the younger. Jane Hansen Hoyt shares, if I could pick one thread that runs through Aglow, I would say that it is relationship. You can walk into an Aglow anywhere in the world and you will feel instantly “at home.” There is a place for all generations in Aglow.
Our Focus Verse is:
"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17 - 19
