Hi guys ! 👋🏼

I have a lot of new people following me on this page so let me take a moment to introduce myself.

I’m Aurora, and I’m the sole creator of the book and blade emporium, if you’re an OG you know I’ve just rebranded this year and my small business was previously called auroras custom creations.

I went to college at the art institute of Boston but didn’t finish my degree in fine arts due to my husband being military.

My passion was to be a fine artist doing portrait work but it just didn’t work out. I am now doing handmade trinkets, painting when I can and a working markets as a fiber artist (crocheting).

My nana taught me how to crochet over ten years ago and I’ve been doing it as a hobby ever since. Crocheting came back recently so I’ve just monetized my hobby and it’s been so rewarding to see how things I make can bring people such joy.

The 3d printing portion of my small business is completely my husband Ben Dignard specialty, he’s the mastermind behind it all. He can answer any questions you may have in regards to the 3d printing process and what works for him. He also 3d models and is just all around amazing.

First couple of portraits I ever did in 2009 to my current WIP, I was not born with any sort of talent and I’m still not talented. No god gave me the ability to draw, I worked on different skills and learned and I will continue to learn. 🖤
