The Salvation Army El Centro Corps

It was a privilege to host the first Imperial County Agencies Coordination Meeting. We are eager to foster strong collaboration among all our agencies to enhance our collective efforts in serving Imperial County more effectively.

The Salvation Army El Centro Participated in our community’s Senior Appreciation Day yesterday. Such an amazing event for those who deserve our appreciation.

Calexico’s Meal Engagement Program helped 50 individuals today with prayer, a meal, clothing articles, and other resources.

We held our back to school distribution today, just in the nick of time with classes beginning on Monday. God is good!!

We launched our first teen night at El Centro Corps. Thank you DJ for that reminder that we are a new creation in Jesus.

Our New Calexico Meal Engagement Program was in full swing today. We shared a meal, clothes, sandals, other resources and the love of Jesus to our homeless friends in Calexico

Partnering with the city of Calexico in the efforts to clean and clear the dangerous debris left by a fire where a few of our homeless friends have made an encampment.
We are providing food, clothing, resources and support.

Serving 240 families of the El Centro community this morning in our commodities distribution. Every 2nd Thursday of the month.

We had our first music class today.
13 new students to learn the joy of music.

The amazing El Centro Social Services team began its meal engagement program in the city of Calexico this afternoon. We were able to share a meal, resources, and minister to our homeless friends.

It was a great Sunday today at El Centro Corps!
We recognized our amazing WMI delegates and their accomplishments.
Then we heard a wonderful reminder on the importance of presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice by Captain Michelle.

WMI 2024 - KINGDOM - Mid-Week Concert Streamed live from Pine Summit Camp in Big Bear California, this is the Mid-Week Concert from The Salvation Army's Western Music Institute 2024.

Jonny, Rachel, and Joshua arrived at WMI yesterday with joy and anticipation of the amazing week ahead.

Every 2nd Thursday of the month we do our commodities food distribution. It was such a blessing to assist more than 220 families.
