We are excited to host our first-ever Paella Pop-up Party! Berkeley native Chef Eric Taylor will cook up a fresh batch of Paella on Sunday, November 17th. Eric perfected his recipe while living in Spain for 10 years.

You know who you are... you have your Voter Information Guide and your Ballot, but you haven't cracked either of them open. But, waiting to the last minute and rushing to the polls is not in your future this year!

Come to our Election Salon to chat about and discuss the measures and the candidates. Bring your Guide and your Ballot, and all those questions you have about this and that.

We'll start at 1pm and go through each item until we've finished, and we are satisfied we've done our duty to become informed voters. All are welcome.

In all honesty, I'm hosting this for the young voters... the people like my son, who are freshly 18 years old and eager to cast their very first vote. Remember how excited we were to cast your first vote? Back then it was an exciting time swollen with normalcy. There was no fear that our democracy would disappear if we didn't vote, but we did anyway.

The times we live in today have more urgency and importance. If we don't show each new generation how important it is to vote, then we fail to instill the value we put in democracy. So, please invite your friends, neighbors and especially the young folks, and let's go through our Voter Guides together on Sunday.
