🤣🤣 some library humor

We appreciate donations so much, but we also don't want to become a dumping ground. At times, we decide to recycle very old books, ripped or torn books, books that have been colored/drawn on, severely outdated books (once we received Windows 95 for Dummies 😬), and books that are very discolored or damaged by water/smoke/mold. We've only recycled approximately 10% of the books that have been donated. The golden rule is that if it isn't in a condition that you would pick up personally, just recycle instead of donating.

Thank you all so much for all the recent books! I'm a little behind with uploading the recent donations, but they were received and will be making appearances in the library soon!

The Pokémon Ninjas have revealed their identity and have struck again! To keep things fair and try to avoid a single clear out, we will put a few out at a time 😊 We feel very thankful for our wonderful neighbors who help us keep the spirit of giving going strong! Every one of you are amazing people and I hope we (as in the whole community of donors) have brought joy to your lives.

A brand new library opening up today! We had the honor of building this library for a friend. Green Gables Little Free Library located on the Eastside at 2324 Tierra Fabian Pl (El Paso, TX 79938)

After a denial a few years ago, a friend and I decided to try to re-nominate Sandstone Ranch Little Free Library as a Pokestop in Pokémon GO. We did this Thursday afternoon, and as of today, we are officially a Pokestop!

It's been a while, but I just took everything out of the library and completely refreshed it. Come find your next read!

What book(s) have stuck with you long after you finished them?

For me, it was The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I still think about them all the time and they continue to pull at my heart

Anyone interested in the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas, all 5 are FREE in the Audible Plus catalog 😊 You must be an Audible subscriber to access the Plus catalog. Not sure how long they'll stay on there, but they were very recently added, so it will be for a little while.

And yes, listening to audiobooks 100% counts toward your yearly Goodreads challenge. I will die on this hill.
