I’m a Momma and Nurse. I volunteer to teach, preach and evangelize. I love the LOCAL CHURCH & JESUS
My favorite time of the day. No one is awake yet. It’s just you and I. I haven’t had to deal with the craziness of the day yet. No one has been unkind to me. No one has made me laugh yet. No one has made me smile. Just you and I God. My time where I get the strength to deal with the stresses of life, and the personalities of your people. I so cherish my coffee and Jesus time. ❤️
Perspective. In difficult situations, it is often easier to see the challenges rather than the blessings…we forget that a sink full of dirty dishes means that we were blessed with the food that led to the mess in the first place. Lord, help us to change our perspectives to an attitude that is full of gratitude. When all we can see is the mounting problem in front of us, help us to remember that YOU are the problem solver. That for every single mountain we face, you’ve already climbed it, and are there with us not just at the top of it, but the journey to the top. Amen. 🙏🏼
Apparently Anna and Kirby thought I needed a little extra help studying this morning 😂.
From the latest book I’ve been reading…Milk and Honey…nourishment for our weary souls…savoring in the goodness of Gods promises. So good. Help us keep our minds fixed upon Jesus today. Help us to drawn near to him, as he draws near to us. ❤️🙌🏻
Your beauty surrounds all of the earth. Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
The earth is your masterpiece. Lying on the ground, I look up at the sky, and cannot deny the beauty of your creation, the tangible reality that is you. The cool earth beneath me, the gentle breeze, the sun shining brightly, the sounds of crickets and birds; how could I ever deny that you are real? You give me peace. Peace that truly surpasses understanding. I breathe you in Holy Spirit, and your strength comes suddenly, and you give me peace. Here is where I find you. When my world is chaotic, and the noise of the enemy is so loud; I simply close my eyes, and listen to the symphony you created with the natural sounds that surround me. I breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Just breathe. I know that you are here with me in this moment. I know you never leave me or forsake me. You are ever present. You are the great I am. Peace be still in your sanctuary, surrounded by nature. Thank you Lord for these moments. Thank you for every single creation. Thank you for planning and preparing every intricate detail, and reminding me just how real you are.
Amen ❤️
No more diabetes medicine after 19 YEARS!!! Praise the Lord! My body is a temple. ❤️🩹🙌🏻
There is nothing you could ever do, or have ever done, that could stop God from loving you! He already paid the price for our mistakes. His plans for you are STILL great. The enemy would love for you to live in the past, dwell on your mistakes, and live with guilt, shame and regret. Don’t fall for the trap, You will miss out on the abundant life he has for you. Jesus already paid the price for our sins. Let’s ditch the guilt and unforgiveness and start living like it!
Merry Christmas from Miami!!!
Good Morning! Rainbows 🌈. Promises 🙌🏻
Saying goodbye never gets easier. Praying for a safe flight for my son as he heads back to Arkansas! Jesus wrap your arms around the plane. Guide him home and keep him safe. In Jesus name. I miss you already Lee Stanback Jr.❤️
The view from the top is always better. The climb reminds you of your strength. How far you’ve come, and that you aren’t done yet. Sanctification, Glory to Glory. It’s a process. It doesn’t stop with just one hike. One summit. One view.
The view reminds you that you are worth the climb. You are worthy; with every pain staking step, every time you get short of breath, every moment you have to stop, catch your breath, and as you don’t give up, and drive straight uphill, and take the next step; step, repeat, step again. That you are worth the climb. You are worth the journey.
You find things at the top you didn’t expect to see. Blessings you never anticipated. Sights you never thought you would make it to see; or maybe didn’t deserve too. But I promise you it’s worth it. The work is worth it. The challenge and pain is worth it. You are worth it.
So keep climbing. Keep hiking. Keep walking. Whatever it is you need to do to get to the top. Because what God has for you is SO MUCH GREATER THAN WHAT YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE. Don’t settle at the bottom of the mountain, when God intends for you to be at the top. Keep climbing. Don’t give up.
My life changed FOREVER when I decided to BE THE CHANGE I WANTED. No one could do it for me. When I no longer was a victim; I became VICTORIOUS! Things will never change until YOU do!❤️
I could use some prayers today ❤️🙏🏼
I love these ladies! Momentum Church Las Cruces Women’s Connect…even being a traveling nurse…knowing I may only be with them for 3 months…they have loved me like I’ve been with them for years…and shown me the love of Christ. No matter where God takes me next, these ladies and this church will forever travel with me ❤️🥰🤗
Beautiful evening to walk with a beautiful sunset and views. ⛰️🌄🥰
We Aren’t Meant To Do This Alone…We Need Each Other!!
I’ve often said this, but in a different way; that sometimes God will take everything away (and he’s done this to me on several occasions when I thought I was pulling the strings), just to show you that he is God, that you are not the one in control, to show you that HE is your provider, and you can do nothing apart from him. If we ever think we are the ones in control, he is quick to remind us, that HE alone is THE GREAT I AM. Help us to remember today who is in control. Help us to step back and allow him to be God.
My new Coffee and Jesus Time place. Peace be Still. It is Well.

Homecoming Sunday. Morning Church and lunch with my best friend. An evening with some of the most amazing woman I’ve come to know; my Salvation Ministries Sisters, Tracy Covington, Suzie Adams, and Erin Pagan!
An amazing word delivered by my sister Meagan Herren. And my partner in prayer, David Redding. My heart is so full. So many more pictures I wish I would have taken. Only one more person to visit here in Arkansas…well 2. My Bridgette Nicole Haneline and my nephew Bub (my girl bestie), Ralph Robbie Clark, you’re my boy bestie haha 🥰
Phew. If this isn’t true, I don’t know what is. Sometimes we have to fall on our face, make mistakes, make bad choices; and learn from those mistakes, to develop a sense of good judgment. I can’t begin to tell you how much bad judgement led to now what is good judgement and sound decision making. All part of growing. All part of life. And something I’m teaching myself that will happen with my child as well. Parents: sometimes we have to stand back, let them make choices, pray for them, and realize that they are creating their testimony. One day they will share it. But they won’t have one if we never let them experience the tests ❤️🙏🏼
But what about when it become hard to smile? We so desperately want peace in our lives. Perhaps we have been stricken with chaos, the unexpected, loss, the financial burden, become the caregiver, experience burn out, unrelenting anxiety, depression or even enormous grief. What then. When it becomes hard to smile?
You may not realize this, but YOU are the light of the world. And WE are to let our light shine so brightly, that others may see it, and give glory to our father who is in heaven according to Matthew 5:14-16.
Are we going to go through incredibly hard things? Yes. Yes we are. Some days they may feel so hard, that it becomes hard to roll out of bed and put one foot on the floor. So here is my challenge to you today, to not only bring the peace back to your own life. But to be the light you are called to be, to shine so brightly that people see Jesus in you.
I challenge you to look in the mirror at some point today. I want you to say this out loud as you look in the mirror. “I am a child of the most high kind. I am royalty. God thought I was worth it, so much so, that he sent his son to die for me, because he loves me that much. Things may be hard right now, but I serve a God who has already overcome the world. I am beautiful. I am not a mistake. I am not the sum of my past mistakes. I am worth living. I can conquer this day, because my strength comes from God! I can do this!” And if you aren’t already smiling after you say all or that, I want you to look into the mirror, and put the biggest, cheesiest, grin on your face. And I want you to hold it until it literally makes you bust out laughing because you feel so silly!
So if peace begins with a smile, let us smile, even when it’s hard, and take our peace back!!! And in that process, we will spread peace to others as well.
So I say to you…Peace be with you….and you say…and also with you. May the peace that surpasses all understanding follow you all of the days of your life. May it bless you and keep you. In Jesus name.
Help us to find a quiet place today; so that we can hear you God. Let us slow down, even if it is for a moment, to recharge, and plug back into you; for you are our source.
A beautiful friend of mine, Comfort, wants to help youth in our area. Even though Northern Virginia is one of the wealthiest places to live in the country, there are still so many children going hungry every day. So many that can’t afford school lunches, or sometimes lunch may be the only meal they get in a day. She has started a non-profit to help these children to ensure that not one of them goes hungry. Visit her site to see the wonderful way God has been using her; and how you can help a child battling hunger. In a country with so much wealth, no child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. Visit her site. And if you feel led to partner, I can guarantee you will be giving to a good cause. https://www.hope4yth.org/
Sometimes we go through things, and we often question, why we are going through that particular thing. Why is it so hard? Why am I having to fight this battle? Where did my peace go?
I’m reminded of Romans chapter 5 every time I face a season like this in my life. I’m reminded that the tough things that we go through, they help us to build character, and that character produces endurance, and building endurance produces hope! And that hope, helps to eliminate the anxiety. Without hope; we have nothing to look forward to. We get stuck in the constant negative thinking patterns that lead to hopelessness and helplessness and drive us into a pit of despair and constant fear; there becomes nothing to look forward to.
You may ask yourself, how does Hope eliminate anxiety? The answer for me, is this: where there is no hope, our minds are left to ponder the unknown, to develop unrealistic fears, and to dwell on those fears. Those fears leave us shaking inside, making decisions that leave us stuck, afraid to move, questioning the unknown and making decisions completely based on fear; or staying in situations that we know, are not healthy for the fear that we may not find anything better. Where there is hope, and that hope dwells in truth, the anxiety melts away. Because we know that Christ is a constant. He does not change. People and situations do. Placing our hope in Christ, especially during difficult situation’s, eliminates the fear and anxiety of the unknown. We are able to trust him. we know that his word is truth, and he does not change.
So today, rather than focusing on whatever is bringing you anxiety, I want to challenge you to focus on the hope that comes only through Jesus Christ. The unchanging steadfast love that only comes from Christ. And cast your anxieties, and cares upon him because he cares for you. And remember that what you were going through right now is helping you to be more, Christlike; even if it’s uncomfortable, even if it makes you uneasy.
