Charles "Charlie" Casiano +
November 24, 1959 - April 3, 2024

Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Casiano, known for his booming voice and impeccable musicality, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on November 24, 1959, in Verdun, France. He is the youngest son to Jose and Socorro Casiano. He grew up with his brothers, Joe and Marcos in a military family that traveled around the world. Baseball was in his blood from an early age and continued to be his passion throughout his life. Charlie graduated from Eastwood High School in 1977, and then joined the Lubbock Christian College’s baseball team as a walk on catcher. He graduated with a bachelor’s in accounting. Charlie went on to work for multiple accounting firms, Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino, the Diocese of El Paso, and the City of Socorro. Charlie began playing the guitar as a youth and his passion for music was only surpassed by his faith and love for the Lord. His deep love for worship music led him to participate in the choir at St Raphael’s Church for more than 20 years. Charlie faithfully served with ACTS at multiple parishes for nearly 20 years. He was truly a “Fisher of Men” with a powerful and dynamic presence. Because of his involvement in a multitude of ministries, he was blessed to have a plethora of friends and acquaintances that cared so deeply for him. Charlie shared a in a beautiful marriage for 43 years with his High School sweetheart, Mary. They were blessed with three boys, Michael, Christopher, and Anthony. Charlie was involved in various activities with his boys including Cub Scouts, coaching sports, and many, many camping trips. Charlie had a loving relationship with his two daughters in law, Tana, and Talitha, and his six grandchildren, Lana, Oliver, Charlotte, Penelope, CeCe, and Henry. Charlie impacted so many lives with his genuine personality and passion for the Lord. His undeniable voice will be missed by everyone of his friends and his family.
