Reyes Elementary School celebrated Grandparents Day on Friday by serving some amazing pozole and inviting the abuelitos to come read 📕 to their grandchildren.

More than 50 teachers, parents, students and other community stakeholders came together to identify what features new schools in the District should include during an educational specification visioning session at Canutillo High School. The session was led by nationally-renowned school construction experts.

Fitch Ratings this week reaffirmed Canutillo ISD's strong AA- bond rating — a clear indication of the strong fiscal management the District has experienced over the years. Despite state-funding related budget woes, CISD has been able to reflect fiscal resilience and stability.

The District's outlook remains positive given continued growth within the District and the support of the voters, who opted to approve a transformational bond that will usher Canutillo into its next phase of service to our community.
