Concert highlights 1! We will be sharing moments from our fantastic concert over the next few weeks. Very proud of all our participants’ hard work and creativity!

Year 7 in the books! Thank you to , .music, and , and all our donors for making this year possible!

Day 4! Finished our large ensemble arrangement in comp lab, had fun learning about contact mics and pedals with , and put the finishing touches on our ensemble pieces for tomorrow’s concert!

Day 3! Learned about development in comp lab, had a wonderful artist talk with , and continued to build our improv skills in combos!

Day 2! Started writing our large ensemble piece with , learned about creating your own path in music from , and further developed original music in combos and in theory/improv!

Day 1 of El Paso Jazz Girls 2024! Composed rhythmic pieces using our names, had an awesome talk with about her compositional process, and started writing our own music in ensembles! Big thank you to ywla_yisd and ._smith for hosting

El Paso Jazz Girls starts Monday and we’re excited to have Danika Scholten and Beau Tredway back as teaching artists! They both are El Paso Jazz Girls alum coming back to teach the next generation.
