This morning’s chapel speaker was our senior ministry student Craig Colin! He spoke on the biblical text John 10:1-17 – Jesus as the Good Shepherd. He ended his message with practical ways to hear God’s voice which include reading His Word, communicating with Him in prayer, and slowing down so we can hear Him speak to our hearts.

We experienced the warmth of community this chilly Friday morning as we gathered for prayer and worship. Ministry students Denis Dyachenko, Micky McTighe, and Susy Flores led our first DCWPA chapel of the semester alongside our worship team: Hana Cunningham, Hannah Ezzy, Cara Haugh, and Katie Garee. We are grateful and inspired by a generation of students who love and serve Jesus!

During Monday's chapel, Judson leaders honored Ainsley Guske with the Fall 2022 Student Service Award. She has been on the Dean's List every semester at Judson. She also has served as an RA in Lindner Tower, a Peer Mentor, a Hospitality Team Leader in Upper Room, a community group leader through chapel, a member of the Judson Creative Society, and worked behind the scenes doing set design for the Judson University Theater. Ainsley exemplifies servant leadership in a way that communicates her care, curiosity, and intentionality in the calling to ministry that God has so clearly placed on her life. Congratulations, Ainsley!

Congratulations to Becca Colson-Hall who graduated today with a double major in Christian Ministries and Psychology! This week she received Judson's Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award! We are so proud of her service to Judson and her community.

Congratulations to Judson senior Rebecca Colson Hall, recipient of Judson's Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award. Rebecca is from Belvidere, Ill., with a double major in Psychology and Christian Ministries. At Judson, Rebecca was a Roeser Scholar, a member of the Judson Student Organization and a choir officer in the Demoss Center for Worship in the Performing Arts Choir. She has also been a Writing Center tutor and sales associate in the Judson Spirit Store.
