Several students recently graduated from the HC-144 Airframe & Powerplant C-School (Class # 97-24). The 2 week course covers basic to intermediate troubleshooting as well as an introduction to maintenance on the GE CT7 powerplant. It was great having you at the training center!

**Attention to Award**
LCDR Amy Hockenberry, ATTC's Training Officer, was the second winner of the 2023 Coast Guard's "Inspirational Student of the Year" (ISOY) Award. In August 2023, LCDR Hockenberry graduated from Baylor University with a Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change - an endeavor culminating over 17 years of distinguished active duty service. As the ATTC Training Officer, she was a workforce multiplier, leading career training classes, promoting project management courses, and enabling others to achieve their professional and personal goals. For example, under her supervision, over 60 members earned their Instructor qualification and 4 others earned their Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification. Beyond her academic and work achievements, LCDR Hockenberry's exemplary leadership was formally recognized by her peers in April 2023, when she received the prestigious honor of being awarded the title of Honorary Chief, reflecting the highest regard and respect among her colleagues. ATTC is fortunate to have you as their training officer- keep up the great work!!

Operational Fitness Training (OFT) is back at ATTC!! It was great to see ASTs back training at our TRACEN!!
OFT is a new and improved course that we recently hosted and had several helicopter rescue swimmers attend. Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmers spent the week learning the training system designed to develop strength and conditioning required to operate in unforgiving ocean and land environments. The Coast Guard has worked with the best exercise science professionals to ensure our rescue crews are ready to meet our mission. The course also focuses on coaching our training system, as our swimmers develop the next generation of Helicopter Rescue Swimmers who are currently training at their units and in the Coast Guard fleet.
