We are set on North Main behind the barbie float, if you are participating please try to be here by 930. Parade starts at 10

Parade tomorrow, theme is "Hello Hollywood" we are doing a red carpet look for the float so feel free to dress up as much as you wish. If you have a Crown or sash from the pageant please wear it. Also just a reminder there is no parking at the staging area so you will need to be dropped off or there will be a bus bringing people from the end point to the staging area before the parade. We will meet at the float around 930 to have everyone in place, parade starts at 10am est. We will be entry #23 and staged on North Main Street

Just a reminder all Kings/Queens, Prince/Princess, Duke/Duchess, Crusade Award winners can be in the parade Saturday. They will be closing the roads around the parade route and downtown at 930 Saturday the parade starts at 10. We hope to see some of you there

Just a reminder:
Many of our downtown streets will be closed between 9:30am-12:30pm for this year's 41st annual Heartland Homecoming Parade.
Some side streets, including North and South Main, as well as portions of Poplar Street will be closed earlier due to parade entry staging.
The parade will step-off at the downtown square and travel northbound on West Dixie Avenue, concluding at the intersection of Saint John Road. The parade disassemble area will be the Helmwood (Roses) Shopping Center.

If you placed at the pageant this past Saturday you are welcome to join us this coming Saturday August 24 for the Heartland Parade. The parade will go from the square in downtown Elizabethtown to the Helmwood shopping plaza (Rose's shopping plaza). We will have a float to ride on, the theme is "Hello Hollywood" so feel free to dress up as much as you'd like, be it pageant or celebrity inspired so long as it's age and family appropriate. You will need dropped off near the square as we will line up on North Main and all participants can be picked up at the end of the parade. Any younger participants from our morning session we ask a parent or guardian be with them. We will meet around 930 please arrive no later than 945 as we want everyone safely in place by parade start at 10 am. The 2024 Grand Marshal is BETTY MARSEE!!
In her 47 year presidency of the Youth Theatre of Hardin County, Mrs. Marsee has been influential in programming for aspiring actors and production minded teens. Her countless hours dedicated to local middle through high school age students, gives hope and inspiration to all.

We will be sharing pictures and those who placed soon, but I wanted to thank everyone who came to compete and help. This year showed us so much how everyone can come together and help out and make an event a success, also the true meaning and feel of a positive pageant community. We saw so many contestants help each other both on and off stage, fixing dresses, helping with their crowns and building each other up. To our judges Laura Howard Nusz, Makayla Post and Taylor Danielle we thank you for all the time and work you put in. Also Kevin for your help tallying all the final scores. A very special thank you as well to little Taylor of Charming Elite Pageant Productions for her help crowning in all sessions. Pritchard Community Center Elizabethtown ky and Valley Creek Volunteer Fire Department for there support and help in the planning and preparation of this event. To Snow Dogs Food Truck and all of our vendors we appreciate everyone who came out yesterday and added to this event. It has truly been a honor to work with everyone and getting to meet all of our contestants each year while raising money for WHAS Crusade for Children and supporting Hardin County. We will have this year's total up soon. Thank you all for another amazing year

I am planning to do a live tomorrow to go over information about the pageant, if you have any questions please post them in the comments and I will be making a list to answer and address. We are a week out and all final touches are being done to prepare. We will close pre-registration and prepayments tomorrow at midnight, so Sunday August 11th at midnight. You will still be able to register the day of at the pageant and pay in cash.
